I’ve been using Benton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel for 2 weeks. I gave up on thick, heavy moisturizers because my skin couldn’t take how greasy, oily, and how it didn’t fully absorb into my skin well anymore. All caused clogged pores. My skin looked like a pimply, greasy mess! This moisturizer is simply just an aloe gel with propolis + other skin goodies (betaine, cucumber extract, allantoin). It doesn’t absorb into the skin quickly. I gently pat it into my skin and the product eventually sinks in leaving the skin matte. It leaves the skin feeling refresh and calm. Soothes the skin quite nicely. It has an odd smell to it. I thought it smelled a little weird. But, I got over it knowing that my skin has improved since using it. It gives my skin light hydration without clogging my pores. I haven’t broken out from it. The texture of my skin looks so much better than before. The changes aren’t drastic, but my skin looks cleaner and more refined. I like what I’m seeing. 🙂 It looks healthy. It looks like my skin prefers gels over cream moisturizers. Or, I just haven’t found a cream moisturizer that works on my skin, lol. This is working for me during the hot, dry months. 🌞
