Time to start my day the healthy way!

Time to start my day the healthy way!

I’ve been doing very well on my new healthy, clean diet. I’ve seen much improvement in my health and complexion of my skin. I can’t believe it. I can’t believe how small changes can lead to larger changes in my daily life! This morning, I made an amazing healthy green smoothie with these ingredients (photo above) — organic soy milk, organic chia seed, baby spinach, a large banana, a whole lime, and an organic homegrown cucumber. Check out the awesome recipe here. I love it! You won’t regret it! Take control of your health and do the best you can to live a more vibrant, healthier life! Baby steps at a time!

This smoothie turned out quite yummy. Much, much tastier compared to my previous green smoothies. The organic soy milk changed the flavor of my green smoothie for the better. It tastes so much better compared to using almond milk. Almond milk, please forgive me that I traded you in for the time being. 🙁 Try it if you haven’t yet. Wow, it gave my green smoothie a creamier and more delightful taste and texture. 👍 I used half a bag of spinach instead of 1-2 handfuls. My baby spinach looked like it was about to wither away and lose its life form. 🙁 I had to use them up before it goes to waste! A very large banana because we all know bigger is better, lol. 😉 And, final touches with a whole lime and cucumber. Mmmm! Delicious!

I used my Trader Joe’s Organic Chia Seeds instead of Hemp Seeds. Not saying Hemp Seeds are terrible. They are wonderful. I just needed to change things up a little bit. I still use Hemp Seeds in my bowl of oatmeal in the morning.

Chia seeds form a gelatinous outer layer when it comes into contact with a liquid. Let the chia seeds soak up the juices. This should take about 5-10 minutes. Once it’s done, enjoy!
