Adding BHA into my skin care routine…
Good morning! 🌞
I’ve been thinking about adding a BHA skin care product into my routine for the longest time. I thought about using AHA in the morning, but I went against it due to my past experience with using it in the AM. It makes my skin extra sensitive to the sun even with SPF and staying out of the sun. My skin tans and develops freckles much faster when using AHA in the morning. So, that’s a big no-no for me. I don’t want to damage my skin. BHA doesn’t have the same effect on my skin as AHA (using it in the morning). I remembered that I had a bottle of Cos De BAHA Salicylic Acid BHA 2% Liquid. Thought I’d give this product a go as I wait for my new BHA Liquid product to arrive. It’ll be here some time next week. More on it next week! 🙂 I’m using this BHA Liquid as a toner. It helps to remove excess dirt and debris after cleansing my face. This product is very gentle. The first ingredient on the list is Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract. Third is Salicylic Acid (2%). I’m really happy that this product is 2%. My skin is not the sensitive type. I can handle 2%. But the formulation of this product has a sticky feel to it. It feels weird as a liquid. I’ll use it in the meantime until I recieve my new BHA product. It’ll be great if it helped with my acne, but I’m not going to hold my breath. My skin responds better to acne treatments, such as AHA and BP. It’ll be nice if it did. 🙂
Note: I’m not using Cos De BAHA 10 AHA Serum.
