Andalou Naturals Vitamin C Beauty Balm
I stumbled upon a BB Cream. I know I said I wasn’t going to buy a new one any time soon, but I really wanted something that’ll improve my skin texture and has SPF in it. Here I have, Andalou Naturals Vitamin C Beauty Balm with SPF 30. The sun protection is from Zinc Oxide, which is pretty awesome! I’ve been avoiding the sun as much as possible because I don’t have a legit sunblock for my face (all of them break me out like crazy). I used to be able to wear a couple of them without any issues. All of a sudden, as I got older, I just can’t. My skin changed. It became more sensitive to SPF. My skin has been more picky than ever before!
Even though this product is called a Beauty Balm, it’s really a tinted moisturizer (or a sheer tint) as it also states on the packaging. I have used this product before. Years ago. Coverage is non-existent. It simply acts as a facial moisturizer. I don’t remember if it broke me out or not. I thought I would give it another chance. One thing that I noticed is that they changed the packaging of this product. It doesn’t come in a pump anymore. YESSS!!! It comes in a twist tube, which makes it easier to dispense the cream. I am aware that this BB Cream is not oil-free. It contains oils — jojoba, sunflower, and borage, to name a few. I was a little nervous about these ingredients before purchasing, but I thought…let’s see what happens. I hope it works.
This BB Cream does contain Vitamin C (Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate) to even out the skin tone, brighten, and fight against aging. I love skin care products with Vitamin C. It’s also a vegan and cruelty-free BB Cream.
Let’s see how it goes. I really hope it works! ☺
