Time is flying by so quick! I’ve been on the BP Treatment Gel for 1 month + 1 week already! Here’s my experience! š
This week, my skin has been doing great! It looks smoother than the week before. I added some new skin care products into my skin care routine during this week. They are…
- AHA+ lotion
- Pixi skintreats Glow Tonic (welcome back! š)
- Cosmedica Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum
The AHA+ lotion has softened the texture of my skin. I look in the mirror without makeup, and I’m like WOW! I love it so far. But, I have some thoughts on it. Read more about it below. I decided to add Pixi skintreats Glow Tonic back into my skin care routine by the end of the week. It’s been months since I’ve used Pixi skintreats Glow Tonic! When using this tonic, I only use it in the morning along with my serums (Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, MA Peptide). It has helped cut down the grease on my face, lol. Ever since I started using it, I noticed minor breakouts from it. At least they’re tiny breakouts. Nothing major. I hope they go away soon. *fingers crossed* I’m aware I’m using an AHA in the morning. Don’t worry, my BB Cream has SPF in it. That’s what I’m using to protect my skin from UV rays. It’s working for me. I don’t get breakouts from it compared to regular sunblock. I still do my best to stay out of the sun as much as possible. I’ve also reintroduced Cosmedica Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum back into my skin care routine for extra moisture. I use it in the morning and at night (when I’m not using BP).
Back to AHA+ lotion…
This is what I think about the AHA+ lotion after using it 4 times.
The first two times, I didn’t get any breakouts from it or any type of skin irritation. No stinging. The 3rd time, I started to feel some tingling. Keep in mind that I don’t use it every single day. I use it every other day and only at night on top of BP. It works to prevent the BP from drying out my skin. I wake up with softer, smoother skin. The 3rd time I used the AHA+ lotion, my face became slightly red. I noticed some pimples coming to the surface too even though the texture of my skin looks smooth. I stopped using the AHA+ lotion to give my skin a break for a few days. Once the symptoms subsided, I went back to using the AHA+ lotion. It worked like a charm! On the 4th day, no skin irritation. Pimples shrunk. My skin looks clearer than days before! I’m going to have to monitor my skin when using the AHA+ lotion. The goal is to use it every other day, but if I see any type of redness or skin irritation, rest. š
I would recommend trying Acne.org BP if you’re struggling with stubborn acne. BP has always been the only ingredient that has worked for my acne besides perscription retinoid. BP is just more accessible and easier to purchase. š Go for it! IT CHANGED MY LIFE! Life is soooo good right now! I felt so self-conscious about my skin before even though I knew it was temporary. I’m glad to have my acne under control and tamed. Loving the no makeup days. Love that I can fully be myself now. That sounds weird, but acne is such a burden to me. I can look people in the eyes now and smile! Such a huge relief! I’m so freaking happy. I hope my reviews and updates help! Leave a comment if you have any questions.
Stay tuned for my 1 month + 2 weeks update! I’m excited for it! š
