Hummus 🙂

Here’s my partially eaten hummus. It was so tempting that I couldn’t resist! 🤤 Keep reading to learn more about this hummus and other foods that I purchased. Enjoy!

#1. Tribe Mediterranean Style Hummus:

I picked up a container of hummus called Tribe Mediterranean Style Hummus. I’ve had this one before. They have other flavors available too, such as Roasted Red Pepper and Classic. I’ve tried both of them before. They’re pretty decent. They’re not the most flavorful hummus I’ve had, but they’re less expensive compared to other brands out there. I don’t have a preference on brands when it comes to hummus, to be honest. I choose whatever I think looks good at the moment, lol. From the Tribe brand, my favorite would be the Mediterranean Style Hummus. I like the appearance of it, and it tastes good.

Hummus can be used in place of other condiments. A few examples are ketchup, mayo, and barbeque sauce. By the way, vegan mayo is really good. Switch over if you love mayo!! I love using hummus to dip my veggies in. To name a couple, chopped celery and baby carrots. Most recently, I’ve been using it to dip MorningStar Farms Buffalo Wings and MorningStar Farms Chik’n Nuggets. I also use hummus in wraps, sandwiches, and burgers. I like it. It’s packed with more nutrition compared to ketchup, mayo, and barbeque sauce.

Nutrition Facts & Ingredients: Tribe Mediterranean Style Hummus is 60 calories per serving (2 tablespoons). It provides healthy fats and 2 grams of protein per serving. It is made of cooked chickpeas, tahini, canola oil, sea salt, dried roasted garlic, citric acid, extra virgin olive oil, dried garlic, spices, paprika, and parsley. No GMO ingredients. Gluten-free. No artificial preservatives.

#2. Archer Farms Raw Almonds Unsalted:

Archer Farms Raw Almonds

I have a new container of Archer Farms Raw Almonds Unsalted. I eat almonds almost every single day as a healthy snack. They’re so crunchy and good. I can’t resist munching on them. Luckily, they’re good for the heart. ❤ For nutritional information, go here. If you’re familiar with Archer Farms Raw Almonds, you will notice that the packaging has changed. It’s in a newly shaped container. Before this, it was cylindrical. Now, it’s a squarish container. I like the new packaging. It’s more condense and compact. It’s much easier to pack in my luggage for travel. The other container was super bulky and annoying. It took up a lot of space, so I had to transfer the raw almonds to resealable storage bags. I didn’t like doing that because they would become stale faster than usual. Yuck.

#3. Tofurky Deli Slices Hickory Smoked:

Say hello to Tofurky Deli Slices! I haven’t had these in a long time! What are Tofurky Deli Slices? They’re vegan deli slices. The one I have is Hickory Smoked. Hickory Smoked isn’t my favorite, but it seems to be the only one available at most stores. This flavor must be in popular demand. I personally like the Bologna a lot more, which is only available at selected stores. Tofurky Deli Slices are handy to have around to snack on and add into sandwiches. Mmmm, I love sandwiches. 😊 I used to stop by Subway, order a vegan sub, and add Tofurky Deli Slices to my sandwich all the time. Soooo good! Try it out!

Nutrition Facts & Ingredients: Tofurky Deli Slices provide 13 grams of protein per serving (5 slices, 100 calories). If you’re gluten intolerant, do not eat this. It is a gluten-based product.

#4. Spinach:

It’s going to be a spinach week! I purchased a large container of spinach. It’s not my favorite, but it will do. Spinach is good for you anyways. It provides a broad spectrum of nutrients. From the top of my head — Vitamins A, K, E + Magnesium, Manganese, Iron, Calcium. Also, omega-3 fats! Didn’t know that, did ya! 😁

#5. Strawberries:

I purchased a pack of strawberries. 🍓🍓 Can’t go wrong with them! They make a quick, sweet, and low calorie snack. They go well with almost everything. Strawberries provide a high dose of Vitamin C and other essential nutrients — Phosphorus, Potassium, Magnesium, Folate, Biotin, and so much more!
