I’ve used the Purito Jeju Volcanic Scoria Konjac Sponge for a week. I think that’s more than enough time to see if I like the product or not, right? It’s a spongggeeeee! The konjac sponge feels gentle on the skin and helps to remove dead skin without being harsh. It works very well to remove flakes after a few days of rest from doing a chemical peel. This saved my skin from appearing dry and rough (the best it could). But, I’m not sure if I’m going to purchase it again any time soon. It works to remove flaky skin when skin is feeling more sensitive than usual. The issue is keeping the sponge clean. I have acne-prone skin, and I have to make sure my tools are completely clean after each use. Cleaning this sponge after each use was such a hassle. It’s porous and a great place for bacteria to grow. It’s something I have to be very careful with. I don’t think this konjac sponge is a bad product. I like it. It’s just difficult to maintain long term. It was nice to try it out though. There’s a possible chance I might even pick another one up in the future. I don’t know. haha. After this one, I’ll have to pass for the time being. I’ve moved onto silicone exfoliators. <<< Check it out! 🙂
