Review: 22 Days Nutrition Protein Bars Salted Caramel, Fudge Brownie
Aug. 23, 2018
Leave a commentI’m always on the lookout for a good vegan protein bar brand to try. I purchased these protein bars at Target. There are 4 bars in a box. They were $7.99 per box plus tax. A little about 22 Days Nutrition: USDA Organic, Non-GMO, Vegan, Soy-Free, Gluten-Free, 100% Plant-Based, Real Food, Naturally Flavored, Clean, Simple, and Complete. Today’s review of 22 Days Nutrition Protein Bars includes Salted Caramel and Fudge Brownie.
#1. Salted Caramel:
22 Days Nutrition Protein Bar in Salted Caramel was the first protein bar I tried. I’m really drawn to the Salted Caramel flavor for some reason. I always expect it to be delicious. These protein bars look very different compared to the Garden of Life High Protein Weight Loss Protein Bars that I had before. The texture was different too. They look very similar to chewy caramel candies that are tiny little squares. The only difference is that the protein bars are in the form of a bar. Unfortunately, I didn’t like the flavor and texture of the Salted Caramel much. It didn’t taste good at all. Pretty bland and boring. Teeth hurts after chewing on these protein bars. What did I just eat? lol.

#2. Fudge Brownie:
On to the Fudge Brownie from 22 Days Nutrition! When I took a bite of the Fudge Brownie flavor, I didn’t like it either. It didn’t taste like chocolate to me. Something was off about it. The texture was weird (again). I had a difficult time chewing it (once again). There’s a grainy aftertaste that was left behind in my mouth. It was very off-putting. I actually bought the Fudge Brownie in the spur of the moment, since I was waiting for my go-to protein bars to arrive. I’ve always wanted to try them. I’m glad I did. Now, I know that it’s not for me.

This brand, 22 Days Nutrition, has two more flavors. They are Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip and Chunky Peanut Butter. I’ll review them soon. There you go. I didn’t like the Salted Caramel or Fudge Brownie. In my honest opinion, they’re not worth it. There are way better vegan protein bars out there. I’ll let you be the judge. Try them out yourself to see if you like them or not. You might like them more than me. Everyone is different. Have you tried 22 Days Nutrition Protein Bars in Salted Caramel or Fudge Brownie?
