Acne Free Kaolin Clay Detox Mask

Hi everyone! Today, I’m going to do a review on a facial mask. It’s been a while since I’ve used one. I thought I needed to bump up my skin care routine a bit. And, a facial mask was exactly what I needed. Here I have a facial mask called Acne Free Kaolin Clay Detox Mask!

My Review:

I’ve used Acne Free Kaolin Clay Detox Mask for a couple of weeks. I used it as a face mask. I’ve never used it as a facial cleanser. I dont need to. I found my HG facial cleanser already. It’s called Trader Joe’s Spa Face Wash with Tea Tree Oil. I will make an update on my skin care routine soon. It seems like ages since I’ve done that. Now let’s get back to the face mask! With the face mask, I followed the instructions — spread a thin layer, let it dry for 5 minutes, and only twice a week. This is what the product looks like.

What Acne Free Kaolin Clay Detox Mask looks like.

It’s definitely creamy. I loved how it felt on my skin. It does have a weird smell to it, but I wasn’t bothered by it too much. Texture-wise, this was exactly what I wanted (creamy, rich facial mask). I do enjoy using skin care products with kaolin clay and charcoal in it. They are awesome for oily, acne-prone skin! Everything sounds wonderful and all about this face mask, but it didn’t go as well as I intended. It all comes down to one thing. Does the mask break me out or not? Unfortunately, it did. It made me break out after the first couple of uses. The acne kept on coming with continued use. I had to stop. Once I stopped, I stopped developing random pimples. These pimples were awful! They were oozing and deep under the skin. If that sounds gross, my apologies. This is a beauty blog afterall. ? So, I wouldn’t recommend this face mask to people with acne skin. Funny how it’s advertised for people with oily, acne-prone skin…but made my acne worse. Once again, be aware if you have that skin type.
