Review: Garden of Life Raw Organic Protein Vanilla Chai, Vanilla

So, I started off with the Garden of Life Raw Organic Protein Unflavored. Next, the Garden of Life Raw Organic Protein Chocolate. Now, Garden of Life Raw Organic Protein Vanilla Chai and Vanilla. 🙂 What drew me to Garden of Life Raw Organic Protein supplements in the first place were the nutrition facts and ingredients. The protein blend is amazing. It contains a variation of protein from many plant-based sources. Here it is.
Raw Organic Protein Blend: Organic pea protein, organic sprouted brown rice protein, organic amaranth sprout, organic buckwheat sprout, organic millet sprout, organic cracked wall chlorella, organic quinoa sprout, organic chia seed sprout, organic garbanzo bean sprout, organic lentil sprout, organic adzuki bean sprout, organic flax seed sprout, organic sunflower seed sprout, organic pumpkin seed sprout, organic sesame seed sprout.
It also provides a nice spectrum of vitamins, minerals, probiotics, and enzymes. Along with that, it’s organic, raw, vegan, non-gmo, gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free. For more information on Garden of Life Raw Organic Protein, go here
#1. Vanilla Chai:
I really liked the Vanilla Chai flavor. It comes close to the Chocolate flavor that I adore very much. The Vanilla Chai protein powder smells like the Unflavored version but has that vanilla chai spice to it. The texture is good. It’s soft and finely milled just like the other Garden of Life Raw Organic Protein supplements. It dissolves well into liquids. In terms of taste, the vanilla chai spice flavor was subtle. It’s not overpowering, but I wish it was stronger and more intense in flavor. I like that spice vanilla chai gives off. It’s soo darn good and warming. It reminds me of the holidays for some reason, haha. Overall, nice flavor. I would definitely purchase the Vanilla Chai again.
The Vanilla flavor was my least favorite. That doesn’t mean it’s terrible. The texture is awesome. Like the others, it’s easy to blend the protein powder into liquids. I’ve never had a problem with that. The only issue I had with the Vanilla was that it wasn’t vanilla enough. I’m a big fan of vanilla flavored products. It’s one of the most basic flavors out there that can’t go wrong. Garden of Life Raw Organic Protein in Vanilla falls short on its vanilla-ness. Don’t get me wrong, it’s tolerable to use. I just don’t think it’s the best out of the bunch. I don’t think I would purchase the Vanilla again anytime soon, since there are better options out there (Unflavored, Chocolate, Vanilla Chai). Perhaps, when the other flavors are out of stock. Try it yourself.
Vanilla Chai and Vanilla are the last two flavors from the Garden of Life Raw Organic Protein line. I have officially tried all of the flavors they have to offer! I hope this helps anyone thinking about purchasing protein supplements from this brand. Remember, these reviews are based on my own experience and personal preference. Your taste will differ. Your results will also differ. Thank you for reading! 😘
