Updated Review: Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Rosewater Mask

Here’s an update on the Andalou Naturals Rosewater Mask. =)

I’ve been using this face mask for over a month. I really liked it in the beginning, but my thoughts have changed since. I do indeed love rosewater skin care products. I love how gentle they are. Unfortunately, this face mask didn’t do anything for my skin. I used it a few times a week. Check out my last review here. It has done NOTHING for my skin. I really think moisturizing face masks (wash off) are a waste of money. They’re not on the skin long enough to have any long-lasting effects on the skin. You’re better off investing in a good moisturizer or serum that hydrates the skin. This mask…I won’t purchase again. I’ve moved on to better, effective skin care products that’s more worth my time and money. I wouldn’t recommend this face mask to anyone either unless you want to spend for fun (lol).

I am on the quest to find an amazing facial scrub! 🙂 I thought I would give the brand Andalou Naturals a chance. It is a vegan and cruelty brand after all. From my experience so far, their skin care products haven’t irritated my skin. 👍🏻 So I have a couple of facial scrubs from Andalou Naturals to try out. One of them is the 1000 Roses Pearl Exfoliator. Let’s try this one out first! I’m kind of obsessed with the 1000 Roses line for some reason. haha. I like skin care products with roses in them due to it being gentle and great for sensitive skin. Here’s my first impression on the 1000 Roses Pearl Exfoliator! I’ve used it TWICE! It comes out as a gel with a small amount of beads in it. The beads in this product are no where near harsh or abrasive. They’re smooth. This exfoliator is indeed gentle. It did not burn my skin or irritate it. I want to emphasize on the gentleness of this facial scrub because it truly is. Even though I love how gentle this facial scrub is, I wish there were more exfoliants in it. Just a tad more to make it easier to remove dead skin cells from the face. I don’t want to have to press, pull, or tug my skin in order to remove dead skin from my face. I want the process to be effortless and natural as much as possible. For this reason, I won’t purchase it again after I finish it. I wish it was more exfoliating.
