Here’s an update on the Andalou Naturals Rosewater Mask. =)
I’ve been using this face mask for over a month. I really liked it in the beginning, but my thoughts have changed since. I do indeed love rosewater skin care products. I love how gentle they are. Unfortunately, this face mask didn’t do anything for my skin. I used it a few times a week. Check out my last review here. It has done NOTHING for my skin. I really think moisturizing face masks (wash off) are a waste of money. They’re not on the skin long enough to have any long-lasting effects on the skin. You’re better off investing in a good moisturizer or serum that hydrates the skin. This mask…I won’t purchase again. I’ve moved on to better, effective skin care products that’s more worth my time and money. I wouldn’t recommend this face mask to anyone either unless you want to spend for fun (lol).

I was looking for a moisturizing face mask and stumbled upon Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Rosewater Mask. I’m using a lot of moisturizing skin care products right now because my skin needs it. It seems to LOVEEEEE it too! So the first product I’ve ever used from the brand Andalou is the Andalou Naturals Vitamin C Beauty Balm. <<< Read my full review here. The BB Cream didn’t work for me, but I noticed that the product was gentle on the skin. I thought, hey, let’s try out other products from this brand. It’s a vegan and cruelty-free brand. It’s nice to know that. Here I am…with the rosewater face mask…

My thoughts on Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Rosewater Mask:
This isn’t a full review, but it’s my first impression after using it once. I know, only once but hear me out! 😊😊 I’m going to use it again later on the week. I’m very excited for it! 🙂 So, the first application turned out to be a success. It left my skin feeling soft and moisturized. I’ve used other moisturizing face masks before, and they were a dud. They were more expensive too! This one is different. It feels like a gel face lotion (not what I’m used to). If that makes any sense. It’s not your typical thick face mask. It feels like you’re spreading lotion on your face. All you need is a thin layer. Using more would be a total waste. There’s no point in that. All I did was apply a thin layer to my face. Let it sit for 10-20 minutes as the instructions states (20 was my choice, more hydration pleaseee!!! hehe!!). It did sting a little bit upon application. Maybe it’s because of the acne treatment that I’m on. My skin is more sensitive than usual. The stinging sensation went away. After I washed the face mask off, my skin felt wonderful! 😄 It didn’t make me breakout in acne (after the first time using it). So I love that it’s made for sensitive skin. I think that’s one of the reasons why I like this face mask. It’s not too harsh on the skin. My skin is loving rosewater and rosehip oil. Yep, it contains rosehip oil too. I’m literally obsessed with rosehip oil right now! ♥
