Update: Derma E Hydrating Gentle Facial Cleanser

I’ve had Derma E Hydrating Gentle Facial Cleanser for about 4 months. It worked well at first. I questioned if it was cleaning my skin well enough. It is a gentle and hydrating facial cleanser after all. It didn’t irritate my skin and didn’t cause any issues until time went on. I started to notice that it wasn’t cleaning my skin well. I noticed breakouts out of the blue, so I added a couple of drops of tea tree oil into my facial cleanser. The tea tree helped, but still…it didn’t entirely help. I noticed a slight decrease in pimples. Just nowhere near where I want it to be. Sooo I switched to another facial cleanser after 4 months of using Derma E Hydrating Gentle Cleanser. My skin dramatically cleared up. It’s less oily and those random pimples disappeared. Wow, my skin looks so good! After my experience with my new facial cleanser, I’m done with Derma E Hydrating Gentle Cleanser. It didn’t work for me. As much as I love hyaluronic acid, this cleanser didn’t cut it for me. It’s time to move on…
I’ll talk about my new face wash in the next post! Stay tuned! 🙂

Review:
After 2 weeks of using this facial cleanser, here are my thoughts on it! 🙂 This was my second choice after purchasing Derma E Vitamin C Brightening Gentle Daily Cleansing Paste. The Cleansing Paste was horrible. It left residue behind and clogged my pores. The Hydrating Gentle Facial Cleanser, on the other hand, worked for me, shockingly. I was surprised. I really liked it! It’s gentle on the skin and doesn’t dry the skin out. It didn’t leave residue behind and left my skin feeling hydrated and clean. It was foamy too. I really think it’s going to replace my use-to-be HG facial cleanser — Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Facial Cleanser. I like it a lot more, since it’s not drying but moisturizing. Not saying the Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Facial Cleanser is drying, but it’s not hydrating. I’m currently in love with hydrating skin care products. They make my skin look more healthy and gives my skin that healthy glow! ✨
Note: I think this is the first Derma E skin care product that I like! The rest were…bleh.
