Review:
Another Pacifica product! This time it’s a lip balm! I was very excited for this lip balm because it’s really difficult to find a lip balm that’s vegan and cruelty-free. Most lip balms at the store contain beeswax or another animal derivative ingredient. Here are my thoughts on this lip balm!
This lip balm comes in a pink-colored packaging with hearts, watermelons, and rainbows. π The first time I opened the balm, I sniffed it. Does it smell like rainbow watermelon (whatever that’s supposed to smell like) or watermelon?? To me, it didn’t smell like ‘rainbow watermelon’ or watermelon. It just didn’t. π€·π»ββοΈ As for it being moisturizing or not, I didn’t think it was that moisturizing. I had to reapply often. It felt waxy on my lips too. This lip balm didn’t do it for me. I was expecting a lot out of it too. Oh well. It didn’t work for me. It may work for you. It’s not a cheap lip balm either. 5 dollars per balm. Off I go to search for a vegan and cruelty-free lip balm that works…and bonus if it smells good…

Review: Hair Food Coconut Milk & Chai Spice Shampoo & Conditioner

I’ve been using Hair Food Coconut Milk & Chai Spice Shampoo & Conditioner ever since I started to color my hair. Check out my hair coloring experiences here:
Garnier Nutrisse Hair Color Results (Spiced Plum)
I needed a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner that won’t strip the color out of my hair. Hair Food Coconut Milk & Chai Spice Shampoo & Conditioner has been working wonderfully. I really like them. The shampoo cleans my hair without making it feel stripped and dried out. It leaves my hair with lots of volume and smelling good. The conditioner isn’t the most moisturizing, but it works well. I like the shampoo a lot more than the conditioner. Perhaps I’ll replace the conditioner with something else when I’m done with it. Who knows. I have no real complaints about these hair care products. They’re good. I will continue to use them and enjoy using them when I wash and condition my hair. π
