Here’s another heavy bar from Larabar. It’s thicker and more dense in comparison to many others. It’s made out of unsweetened coconut, nuts, and extra virgin coconut oil. The last time I had the Larabar Coconut Cream Pie, I thought it was average. Again, I still think it’s average. It tastes exactly like what’s in it. That is, coconut shreds and coconut oil. Surprisingly, there isn’t a lot of whole nuts in this bar. It’s mainly coconut shreds. The coconut oil gives it that soft and creamy texture. Well, not too smooth, but more like that oily texture that makes it smoother. As I said in my last review, it could be creamier. I think the Coconut Cream Pie would be good for coconut lovers though. Keep in mind, it’s healthier than the actual pie. For me, it’s not bad. It’s just not the best of the best. I prefer other Larabars out there.

I love carrot cake! I said this before in my last review. 😊 Let’s begin the review on Larabar Carrot Cake for the second time! The Larabar Carrot Cake is soft and chewy but has a nutty texture to it. Chewy carrot pieces are distributed throughout the whole bar. You will find a few whole nuts with each bite too. As for the flavor, it’s cinnamony, which I like very much. Cinnamon is so warming and adds a nice touch to almost everything. It has pineapple and raisins in it, but I didn’t like it. I like pineapples in general. I just didn’t like it in this bar for some reason. I didn’t care for the raisins either. Even though I wasn’t too ecstatic about the combination of ingredients, I still somehow managed to enjoy the Carrot Cake. The Larabar Carrot Cake wasn’t too sweet. I could actually eat it without feeling overwhelmed like the Key Lime Pie. Did it taste like real carrot cake??? Once again, I didn’t think it tasted like the real thing. Meh. Take it or leave it. At least it’s healthier. Overall, Carrot Cake makes a very light snack. It didn’t keep me full longer compared to other Larabars I’ve had before. I prefer the heavier Larabars because of that. Would I repurchase Larabar Carrot Cake again? It’s not bad, but I’m not a big fan of it. My thoughts remain the same. I guess I’ll pass.
