The Byodo-In Temple in Hawaii.

I’m going to take everyone on a tour at the Byodo-In Temple in Hawaii!

What is the Byodo-In Temple?

The Byodo-In Temple is a Buddhist temple. It is non-denominational. This temple is dedicated to the first Japanese people who immigrated to Hawaii. It is a replica of a Buddhist temple in Japan, but a smaller version of it. FYI, this temple is not a practicing Buddhist temple, and everyone of all faiths are welcomed to the temple! Also, please be quiet and respectful when you’re in this area. It is still a religious place.

Location:

It is located in Kaneohe, Hawaii. Address: 47-200 Kahekili Highway Kaneohe, HI 96744

Aloha! After a fun hike at the beautiful Manoa Falls, I went to go grab food. Hiking = Calories Burned 🙂 The joy of being fit and active. FOOD!!! Here I am, getting dolled up before heading out to the Moana Shopping Center! I’ve been there so many times that I know the area by heart now! Lovely open-air shopping mall! Check out my experiences at the Moana Shopping Center below. Travel tips included.

Their food court is bomb. Much better compared to the malls in the Bay Area, for sure.

My travel buddy and I went to a place called “Little Cafe Siam.” It’s a small, quick-service restaurant serving Thai food. He ordered Noodles, while I ordered the Tofu with Broccoli Stir-Fry. We were quite disappointed how the food came out. This food joint wasn’t our cup of tea. It is what it is. I have photos of the food below. Feel free to enjoy it, haha.

Since he wasn’t satisfied with his meal, we went to grab food at “Aja Sushi & Bento.” He bought the Spicy Chicken Wings with Rice. It came in a cute little bento box. Here it is.

For a late night snack, I had more carbs. HAHA. In the form of sweet tomatoes. They’re also known as cherry tomatoes. Mmm!

P.S. Before the Manoa Falls hike, I made this. It’s homemade Tofu with Vegetables Stir-Fry. Yes, I try to eat healthy when I’m traveling no matter what. Don’t judge me, lol.
