Larabar Lemon Bar

The next Larabar I have is the Lemon Bar. This one is new to me. I was very hesitant on purchasing the Lemon Bar because I was afraid that it might turn out to be another Key Lime Pie. I thought I would give it a chance anyways. You’ll never know if you don’t try. Here’s more information about the Lemon Bar before I begin my review on it. 😊
Larabar Lemon Bar:
- Just 6 Ingredients!
Nutrition Facts & Ingredients: Dates, Cashews, Almonds, Lemon Juice Concentrate, Dried Lemon Juice Concentrate, Lemon Oil.
The Lemon Bar flavor comes in an adorable yellow box just like its wrapper. So cute and pretty! When I removed the Lemon Bar out of its wrapper, I noticed that the bar was rather thin compared to the previous Larabars I have tried. The Lemon Bar had a nice, soft texture to it, which made it very easy to bite into and chew. There were a few whole nuts here and there. In one of the photos, you can see an almond peeking out of the bar. 😁 As for the taste, the Lemon Bar tastes like lemons (what it’s supposed to taste like). The ingredient list does state that it contains Lemon Juice Concentrate, Dried Lemon Juice Concentrate, and Lemon Oil. It tastes exactly like that. Even though it is sweeter than what I usually like, it wasn’t bad. I like lemons, so the Lemon Bar gets a pass from me. Also, there are cashews in this bar. It’s the second ingredient on the list. But, the lemon flavor overpowers it. Yay! If you haven’t noticed yet, I’m not too big on cashews. Overall, I liked the Lemon Bar. It’s not as good as the Cinnamon Roll and Coconut Chocolate Chip, but I wouldn’t mind purchasing it again if I want something sweet and satisfying without feeling guilty. It makes a nice lemon-flavored snack that’s natural. And yes, it turned out way better than the Key Lime Pie!

Larabar Key Lime Pie

Here’s my review on Larabar Key Lime Pie! I’ve had other Pies from the Larabar brand. They are Apple Pie, Coconut Cream Pie, Cherry Pie, and Pecan Pie. Pecan Pie is my favorite, but I can hardly find it in stores. Oh well! 🙃 So, I wanted to try something out of my comfort zone. The Key Lime Pie is pretty much that. Here’s more information on this bar:
Larabar Key Lime Pie:

Today, it’s all about Key Lime Pie! Larabar Key Lime Pie comes in a lime green box. It’s hard not to notice it. The color is sooo out there that I can’t even look away, lol. I’m so not into it, but real Key Lime Pie is pretty delish. Also, I haven’t tried this flavor out yet. I must! So, the texture of this bar was soft and chewy, but there’s something else going on here too. Guess what it is? Coconut. I’m not sure why coconut was added into this bar. The texture of the coconut threw me off. It was unnecessary and plain weird. Don’t get me wrong, coconut is yummy. I didn’t think it meshed well with the other ingredients in this bar that’s all. As for the taste, it was very sweet. It does contain Lime Juice Concentrate and Dried Lime Juice Concentrate. With the dates, it makes it even sweeter. I thought it was an overkill. I can handle a real key lime pie, but this bar was too much for me. In addition, there are two nuts in this bar. They are almonds and cashews. The last bar I had was Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough where cashews is the first ingredient. In the Key Lime Pie, cashews is the second ingredient. The cashews in the Key Lime Pie were more prominent. I can taste it with every bite. I’m not feeling it. Overall, the Key Lime Pie was very odd. It’s a mix of ingredients that didn’t go well together. I won’t purchase it again. Finally, I’m going to answer the burning question, “Does it taste like Key Lime Pie?” No, it didn’t. Keep in mind that it is healthier than an actual key lime pie!
