Review: Andalou Naturals Luminous Eye Serum

I have another eye serum to share! It’s called Andalou Naturals Luminous Eye Serum! More about this eye serum:
- Fruit stem cell complex
- Vitamin C
- Goji glycopeptides support dermal vitality for a lighter, tighter, brighter looking appearance
- Caffeine from green coffee uplifts circulation for youthful luminosity
I’ve been using this eye serum for a little over a week. What attracted me to it was that it was a brightening eye serum. Loooveeeeeee VITAMIN C! ♥ This could help with my dark under eye circles that never go away (even when I’ve had enough sleep!!) This serum is what it is — a serum. It’s soft and absorbs into the under eye area well. All you need is a little bit of product to cover the whole eye area. It’s gentle and doesn’t irritate the skin at all. I love the texture of it. As for the results, it’s OK. I haven’t seen a drastic change in my skin. It’s only been a little over a week anyways. I’ll make another update on the results when I finish the whole tube or when I see changes. It doesn’t hurt to have this eye serum in my eye care routine. It leaves my eye area soft and moisturized. Stay tuned for a future update! 🙂

Review: Milani Baked Blush Luminoso Bella Bellini
Sep. 7, 2018Leave a comment
I introduced Milani makeup products over a week ago. Check it out right here. I’m going to begin reviewing the Milani makeup products. Let’s start off with the Milani Baked Blushes. I have the ones in Luminoso and Bella Bellini. What are these Baked Blushes anyways? Let’s find out!
Milani Baked Blush:
- Richly pigmented and highly buildable
- Beautiful matte and shimmery shades of baked blush
- Perfect cheeky pop of color for every skin tone
- Sunbaked on Italian terracotta tiles
- Warm finish adds radiance that is the essence of beauty
- Shape, contour, highlight your best features
Here they are together. Side-by-side. On the left, Luminoso. On the right, Bella Bellini.
There’s a mirror inside the compact too. Also, a brush. I never used the brushes provided in these compacts. I find most of them to be of poor quality. They are too harsh on my skin.
Swatches of Milani Baked Blushes:
I have Luminoso and Bella Bellini. Luminoso is a light pink shade. This one is very popular. The other one is called Bella Bellini. It is a coral-peach shade. I’ve heard good things about Milani Baked Blushes, so that’s why I purchased them. From my first impression, I thought they were good. They were super soft, pigmented, and easy to apply. They were better compared to other drugstore brands I’ve used in the past. Over time, my experience with these blushes changed. Mind you, I’ve been using Milani Baked Blushes for nearly a year! These blushes appear pigmented at first and are buildable, but the color fades easily and quickly. It doesn’t last on the skin. I’ve tried using a makeup primer beforehand too with the same results. The color vanishes in a few hours. Also, they’re not matte as they claim to be. They are shimmery with specs of glitter. More luminous with a sheen to them. As a blush, meh. It’s not the worst. Besides using Milani Baked Blushes as a blush alone, I love using them as a makeup highlighter. I sweep them over my eyelids, forehead, nose, and chin. This works out great, since the color fades. It leaves a subtle, pretty sparkle on the skin. If you’re looking for a drugstore blush that are decent and affordable, give them a try (Luminoso, Bella Bellini). Keep in mind that Milani makeup products are cruelty-free. It’s a nice way to move towards the cruelty-free lifestyle. 🙂
Have you used Milani Baked Blushes? In Luminoso or Bella Bellini? Other colors? What did you think about them? Share your experience!
