Vegan Protein Supplements

I talked about supplements yesterday. What about protein supplements? Am I taking protein supplements???

I have two tubs of protein powder sitting around. The thing is, I haven’t touched them since. I try to. I don’t know. I prefer to eat actual food over taking protein supplements. I do like protein snacks, such as cookies and especially bars. Those fit in my meal plans quite nicely. But, protein powders are last on my list. I used to love them, by the way. 😋 Even though I haven’t been using protein powders for months. I’m very happy that none of my protein powders have expired yet. 👍

As you can see from the photo, I have Trader Joe’s Organic Pea Protein Powder (Vanilla) and Orgain Organic Protein Powder (Creamy Chocolate Fudge). With Trader Joe’s Organic Pea Protein Powder, the reason why I haven’t been using it is because it tastes quite awful. It just doesn’t taste good to me at all. It doesn’t matter what I put in my protein shake. I don’t like the taste of it. What I like about it is the amino acid profile. On the other hand, Orgain isn’t too bad, which I’m leaning towards to using more often.

I’m trying to get back in shape again, so I think it’s about time to utilize these protein powders. I’m not lacking protein or anything like that as a vegetarian. I get enough protein in a day. But, protein does seem to keep me fuller much longer throughout the day. I have these protein powders. Why not use them instead of wasting them??!! So let’s begin this transformation! Wish me luck! 😊

My Supplements: Garden of Life mykind Organics Whole Food Multivitamin for Women & Jarrow Formulas Hyaluronic Acid

I have a couple of supplements I want to share. Here’s my everyday multivitamin (left). I was taking the Target brand before, but I can’t find it at Target any longer, so I picked up something else — Garden of Life mykind Organics Whole Food Multivitamin for Women. I’ve taken this one before. That’s why I chose it. It is certified vegan, certified gluten-free, non-gmo, and usda organic. 😊 A bottle of this stuff only lasts for 30 days. Fortunately, I bought another bottle. I really like it. Also, on the right, I have Jarrow Formulas Hyaluronic Acid. It’s supposed to promote skin hydration. But, hyaluronic acid is good for the joints too. As a runner, I find that this supplement helps my achy joints very much. This supplement is vegan, gluten-free, and non-gmo. Another supplement that I like. Of course, I started to take Deva Vegan Hair Skin Nails Supplment. It’s been going well. The only thing I would like to mention is that the smell of the pills are awful. lol. It hasn’t made me breakout in acne at all. My skin is looking perfect! 👍
