Andalou Naturals Rosewater Mask

I was looking for a moisturizing face mask and stumbled upon Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Rosewater Mask. I’m using a lot of moisturizing skin care products right now because my skin needs it. It seems to LOVEEEEE it too! So the first product I’ve ever used from the brand Andalou is the Andalou Naturals Vitamin C Beauty Balm. <<< Read my full review here. The BB Cream didn’t work for me, but I noticed that the product was gentle on the skin. I thought, hey, let’s try out other products from this brand. It’s a vegan and cruelty-free brand. It’s nice to know that. Here I am…with the rosewater face mask…

My thoughts on Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Rosewater Mask:

This isn’t a full review, but it’s my first impression after using it once. I know, only once but hear me out! 😊😊 I’m going to use it again later on the week. I’m very excited for it! 🙂 So, the first application turned out to be a success. It left my skin feeling soft and moisturized. I’ve used other moisturizing face masks before, and they were a dud. They were more expensive too! This one is different. It feels like a gel face lotion (not what I’m used to). If that makes any sense. It’s not your typical thick face mask. It feels like you’re spreading lotion on your face. All you need is a thin layer. Using more would be a total waste. There’s no point in that. All I did was apply a thin layer to my face. Let it sit for 10-20 minutes as the instructions states (20 was my choice, more hydration pleaseee!!! hehe!!). It did sting a little bit upon application. Maybe it’s because of the acne treatment that I’m on. My skin is more sensitive than usual. The stinging sensation went away. After I washed the face mask off, my skin felt wonderful! 😄 It didn’t make me breakout in acne (after the first time using it). So I love that it’s made for sensitive skin. I think that’s one of the reasons why I like this face mask. It’s not too harsh on the skin. My skin is loving rosewater and rosehip oil. Yep, it contains rosehip oil too. I’m literally obsessed with rosehip oil right now! ♥

30 Days of BP: Week 4

Week 4 Results…

This week is going to be different. I’m going to cut down on using BP. I’m thinking 3-4 times a week depending on how my skin responds to the treatment. Maybe only 2 times a week. If I need to use more BP, I’ll use more. If I need to use less, I’ll use less of it. On rest days (no BP), I will focus on Cos De BAHA Acne Serum instead. I’ve noticed positive results with it, read more below!! Let’s see how this goes! 😀

Day 22: Rest Day — I mentioned earlier that I’m going to focus on Cos De BAHA Acne Serum instead. Here’s why. It’s working. I’ve noticed an improvement in my skin after using it for less than a week. I did end up with some acne when I first started, but they have subsided and are healing. Cos De BAHA hasn’t eliminated all of the clogged pores/acne, but it’s doing a better job than BP has. Wow, I’m very excited to see results right in front of me!!! My skin looks brighter too. 🙌🏻

Day 23: Rest Day — Another day off of BP. I’m continuing to use Cos De BAHA Acne Serum in the morning and at night when I’m off of BP. My skin looked pretty good this morning. The hard sebum I’ve been complaining about are slowing dissapearing! I think the serum is working!! I can tell that it’s working when I run my hands over my face! The bumps are smoothing out and coming out by themselves! WOW! Can’t wait to see what results I’ll get tomorrow when I’m going at this rate with the Acne Serum. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Day 24: Rest Day — My skin looked pretty decent today. No new obvious pimples. Good, good. So I thought about my skin care routine. If there’s a possibility that something else I’m using is making my skin worse…that I don’t know of. I read about Galactomyces breaking people out. I thought, hey, that might be the cause. And, I haven’t noticed any improvements using the Galactomyces serum. I’m going to stop using Cos De BAHA 94 Galactomyces Serum, since it hasn’t done anything for my skin. I mean, it COULD be clogging my pores that I don’t know of. Or not. Who knows. Let’s remove it and see what happens.

Day 25: Rest Day — Having a good skin day this morning. Much, much better compared to yesterday. Hoping the comedones are going to vanish by the end of the week after I stopped using Cos De BAHA 94 Galactomyces Serum. I haven’t touched BP since last Friday, lol. My skin is loving the Acne Serum! =)

Day 26: Rest Day — I’m thinking if I should use BP anymore. My skin is improving slowly. I still don’t like how BP dulls my skin out. My skin looks way brighter using the Acne Serum + other serums. Should I continue to use BP or just the serums? I’ll have to think about it. Maybe BP once a week? Hmmm. I’ve been using my serums this whole week with improvements…

Day 27: Rest Day — Another rest day. Skin is looking good. Pimples are going away. Pores unclogging. Hard sebum removing themselves. I’m able to extract them too! Wow, my skin looks so soft and smooth. It’s not perfect YET, but it’s going somewhere. By the end of the week, I will determine if I should continue to use BP or not.

Day 28: Rest Day — Yet another rest day. I’ve decided to continue on with my serums unless I need to use BP. I’ve only used BP for 18 nights (doesn’t include rest days). During those times, my skin was meh. It didn’t yield the results that I wanted. So, I’m going to end this BP Journey and move on to another journey, which is with the Cos De BAHA Acne Serum. =)

Note: I started to use AHA too. Gave me some breakouts…but it’s not irritating my skin at all. My skin is getting better! 🙌🏻

Moving on to another grand experience!! See you all there!! 🙂
