Trader Joe’s Organic Pea Protein Powder Vanilla

I have a new protein powder supplement! After I finished Trader Joe’s Organic Pea Protein Powder Unsweetened, I picked up Trader Joe’s Organic Pea Protein Powder Vanilla. I said I was! Now, here I am with the Vanilla! Trader Joe’s Organic Pea Protein Powder Vanilla is vegan, gluten-free, and organic. Let’s take a look at the nutrition facts and ingredients. Just to see if there are any similarities and differences between the Unsweetened and Vanilla. 🙂

Nutrition Facts & Ingredients: Besides Organic Pea Protein Isolate as the only ingredient. The Vanilla also contains Organic Coconut Palm Sugar and Organic Vanilla with Other Natural Flavor. The Vanilla has 5 grams of added sugars, while the Unsweetened has none. There’s a slight increase in Calcium, Iron, and Sodium too but not by much. Instead of 100 calories, the Vanilla provides 30 more calories — a total of 130 calories. Protein is the same in both, which is 20 grams per serving.

I’ve had much success with Trader Joe’s Organic Pea Protein Powder Unsweetened. I thought I would venture out to the Vanilla flavor just for the sake of trying it out at least once. If I don’t like it, I can always go back to the Unsweetened. No biggie. I must say, I’m very ecstatic about the Vanilla flavor. I hope it works out for me, but we will have to see. I’ll make an update when I begin to use it. Have you used Trader Joe’s Organic Pea Protein Powder Vanilla before? How about the Unsweetened? Which one did you like more?
