Witch Hazel for Oily Skin

I picked up a bottle of witch hazel at the store. I decided to switch over to this as my toner instead of using Pixi Toners (Retinol and Glycolic). I haven’t seen good results with either one. I think they’re pretty useless. I wouldn’t recommend them, to be honest. I’ve been using them for months too. It’s time to move on to something else. As I mentioned before, witch hazel. Witch hazel is a natural astringent. It does contain 14% natural grain alcohol. Of course, it has 100% distilled witch hazel. I’ve used it a couple times already. It hasn’t dried my skin out. But, it did a better job at removing oilies off of my skin. It dried out stubborn pores that were difficult to unclog too. I’m not going to say that it’s good yet. I still need more time to see what it will do to my skin. I’m crossing my fingers that it won’t break me out or clog my pores. I am using it every day in the morning and a few times at night (when I use my serums). I’ll talk more about my night time routine when I do an update on my Clear Skin Journey (5 Months). You know me, I’m always changing up my skin care routine every week, lol. Stay tuned for an update on that. Also, stay tuned for an update on my new facial toner — Witch Hazel. 🙂
