My experience
I’ve gone through one bottle of LilyAna Naturals Vitamin C Serum already. I’m on the second bottle. What attracted me to this skin care product was that it’s natural and not tested on animals. I needed a skin care product that would even out my complexion. This seemed like a perfect match for my skin woes. Vitamin C is an awesome skin care ingredient that helps with anti-aging, wrinkles, collagen, and dark spots or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I decided to try it. This is what happened.
This skin care product worked to brighten my skin. I can literally tell the difference in my complexion when using this vitamin C serum consistently (day and night). It’s not sticky and absorbs into the skin very well. It’s not moisturizing though. I can feel my skin becoming a tad dry after application. So, when I was using the first bottle, I loved the brightening effect, BUT I would get random clogged pores ever so often. I continued using the serum because I didn’t know if it was the serum or something else that caused me to breakout.
Once I started on the second bottle, which I have a lot of product left, I started to notice that my skin would become clogged. I would get random pimples in the most bizarre areas. It wouldn’t stop. I stopped using the product ASAP. The serum works to brighten the skin, but it’s uncool when I’m breaking out at the same time. If I’m breaking out, that means I’m going to have to deal with acne scars. That’s not something I want to deal with. I have noticed that my pimples are going away after I stopped using it.
I really wanted this serum to work. It just didn’t work out. The product says that it’s non-comedogenic…it’s not. This would work for people that don’t have acne-prone skin. As of now, I am not using any skin care products all-over my face. I’m letting it heal. I’m still using eye care products though. Stay tuned for that! I hope this review was enlightening for people looking into purchasing this vitamin C facial serum from LilyAna Naturals. Thanks for reading!
