Review: Desert Essence Coconut Shampoo & Conditioner
It’s been close to a month of using Desert Essence Coconut Shampoo & Conditioner. Here’s my experience with them. Let me begin by saying that I was very excited to use this shampoo and conditioner. The ingredients looked natural. The shampoo contains rosemary leaf extract, witch hazel leaf extract, black elderberry extract, aloe leaf extract, shea butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, and olive fruit oil. The conditioner contains olive leaf extract, coconut oil, shea butter, sweet almond oil, sunflower seed oil, and jojoba oil. The ingredients looked intriguing and promising. I love natural hair care products and have been on the search from some good ones. Also, they’re not tested on animals. They are vegan.
Even though the ingredients are natural, my experience with Desert Essence Coconut Shampoo & Conditioner was far from good. The shampoo and conditioner claims to provide intense moisture and smooth frizzies. It also claims to leave the hair feeling soft and healthy. I didn’t experience any of that. I didn’t find the shampoo or conditioner moisturizing. They both left my hair very dry like the desert (pun intended). My hair looked frizzy and flat after each use. Honestly, I didn’t look forward to using the shampoo and conditioner at all. It was pretty much a drag. So, the results were terrible. I’m very disappointed because I love their Organic Jojoba Oil. I will not repurchase the shampoo or conditioner in the future.
