Updated Review: Acure Brightening Cleansing Gel
Here’s my update on the Acure Brightening Cleansing Gel! =)
I stopped using the Acure Brightening Cleansing Gel for a while now. It didn’t work out for me. It felt like a gentle face wash at first, but it started to sting my eyes and skin. It didn’t do anything to brighten my complexion. Nothing for my acne. It didn’t leave my skin feeling clean either. I went through a couple of facial cleansers after discontinuing the Brightening Cleansing Gel. I started to use Derma E Hydrating Gentle Facial Cleanser for some time. I’m currently using a mix of the Derma E and Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Face Wash. My skin feels clean, so it’s working well. I think I’m going to switch over to the Tea Tree Face Wash once I finish the Derma E. Even if acne creams/gels dry out my skin, I still have oily skin underneath the surface. That’s just my skin type. The Tea Tree Face Wash has always worked in the end. I think I’m done searching. Hmmmm, lol. I don’t recommend the Acure Brightening Cleansing Gel. I’m really not impressed. Don’t waste your money.
