Here’s my updated review on the The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Set! I loved it from the start, but things have changed. I noticed comedones and hard sebum in my pores. I noticed some blackheads too. Looking at the ingredients of the cleansing oil, it contains isopropyl myristate as the first ingredient. Yeah, I was hoping it would work. haha. That’s too bad. Isopropyl myristate is very comedogenic. I think I’m better off slathering EVOO or EVCO to remove my makeup. I stopped using the cleansing oil last night, and my skin looks better this morning. I tried using the foaming face wash without the cleansing oil this morning. And, it left a weird residue on my skin. I followed up with my original face wash Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Oil to remove the residue off of my face. So, I think I’m going to stick to my HG face wash. It worked in the past, and it’s working now. It removes excess oil, dirt, debris from my skin very well. Stick to what works ya know! lol. Yep, I’m done with The Face Shop Rice Water Bright cleansing oil and foaming face wash! It was nice to try it out, but it didn’t work for me. I don’t recommend it if you have acne-prone skin. I haven’t noticed my skin any brighter using them. It’s not on the skin long enough to take effect anyways. Well! I hope this review helped!
