My Review on Cali White Activated Charcoal & Coconut Oil Toothpaste
My Review on Cali White Activated Charcoal & Coconut Oil Toothpaste

It’s been a month of using Cali White Activated Charcoal & Coconut Oil Toothpaste. I can’t believe it’s been that long. If you missed out, check out my first time using this tooth paste here. For more information on it, go here. Cali White Activated Charcoal & Coconut Oil Toothpaste isn’t your traditional toothpaste. When the product is dispensed from the tube, it may appear like one. The product comes out as a black paste. It is charcoal after all. It doesn’t foam up like a traditional toothpaste. Don’t expect it to. The paste turns into a liquid while brushing. I had to hover over the sink to prevent the liquid from dripping on other surfaces, which became quite an annoyance over time. I must say that it is less messy compared to the charcoal teeth whitening powders I have used before.

Cali White Activated Charcoal & Coconut Oil Toothpaste only lasted a month for me. I brush after meals when I can. I try my best to brush after I consume acidic foods. I seriously dislike how my teeth feels after eating fruit. ? With this toothpaste, in the beginning, it was difficult for me to tell if it was working or not. I decided to keep using it anyways until I finished the whole tube. After a month of use, I would love to say that it works to whiten my teeth. Unfortunately, the effects weren’t on par with the charcoal teeth whitening powders. Even though the charcoal teeth whitening powders are messier, the results were better. I noticed a brighter smile in a shorter period of time. Also, the powders lasted much longer too.

The toothpaste isn’t all too bad. It contains beneficial ingredients for the teeth, such as Xylitol, Diatomite Diatomaceous, Baking Soda, Activated Charcoal, Tea Tree Oil, Peppermint Oil, and Organic Coconut Oil. I really like the ingredients. They look pretty natural. I love how it cleans my mouth and freshens my breath. The convenience is very nice. But, there’s a price to pay. It’s much more expensive compared to a small jar of charcoal teeth whitening powder. Once again, it only lasted for a month. Imagine purchasing it every month! For a product that didn’t give me the results I truly wanted, I will not purchase it again. It was nice to try it out, but I think I’m going to look for another charcoal teeth whitening powder to test out instead.

Cali White Activated Charcoal & Coconut Oil Toothpaste

I used Cali White Activated Charcoal & Coconut Oil Toothpaste for the first time yesterday morning. I would love to share what I’ve experienced so far. Let’s start all the way from the beginning. Let’s begin by unboxing the Activated Charcoal & Coconut Oil Toothpaste! ?

Cali White Activated Charcoal & Coconut Oil Toothpaste, In Box:

Here’s Cali White Activated Charcoal & Coconut Oil Toothpaste in its original box. The box looks nice in its black and greenish/bluish packaging. Upon touching the box, sadly, it feels very flimsy and rather cheap. The box tears very easily. I’m not even joking, lol.

Unboxing Cali White Activated Charcoal & Coconut Oil Toothpaste:

Here’s me unboxing the toothpaste tube. Just like the box, the toothpaste tube feels flimsy and cheap too. It’s not made from the best materials. The tube is 4 oz (118 mL). The tube turned out much bigger than I expected. I’m super excited for that!

The tube is sealed shut when you twist open the cap.

Opening the seal. Like a breath of fresh air!

Here’s the Cali White Activated Charcoal & Coconut Oil Toothpaste. Ooooo! ? It looks pretty cool. I’m so used to charcoal whitening powders, so this was a totally different experience.

Cali White Activated Charcoal & Coconut Oil Toothpaste, What it Looks Like
Cali White Activated Charcoal & Coconut Oil Toothpaste, What it Looks Like

I used Cali White Activated Charcoal & Coconut Oil Toothpaste yesterday morning, the night of that morning, and this early morning. A total of three times already. This toothpaste looks like your ordinary toothpaste, but it isn’t. It sits on top of a toothbrush like any other toothpaste. The difference is that it doesn’t foam up. Like the instructions states, there are no foaming agents and toothpaste may dissolve a little bit while brushing. The toothpaste fully dissolved when I was using it. It turned into a liquid. I had to make sure I didn’t splatter it everywhere. As someone that has used charcoal teeth whitening products before, I’m familiar with the procedure to prevent staining countertops and clothing. This wasn’t a big issue to me as long as I see results. That is, a brighter and whiter smile. I thought the toothpaste itself was OK. Still, I can’t say if it’s working or not. I just started using it. I will do an update as soon as I notice any apparent changes in my smile. The only thing I didn’t like about this product was the packaging of the toothpaste. It feels very flimsy and super cheap (mentioned this earlier). I can’t stress this enough. The cap doesn’t stay fully closed. I don’t think it would be a good idea to pack this toothpaste with me when I’m traveling. It seems like it would pop open, spill all over my belongings, and stain them. So, that’s my first impression of the Cali White Activated Charcoal & Coconut Oil Toothpaste. Stay tuned for my next update!
