Review: Cos De BAHA Arbutin Niacinamide Serum
Here’s my review on the Cos De BAHA Arbutin Niacinamide Serum! Just like the Vitamin C Serum and Niacinamide Serum. I’ve gone through a couple of bottles of this too. Here are my thoughts on it!
About Cos De BAHA Arbutin Niacinamide Serum:
- Skin brightening
- Diminishes acne
- Treating pigmentations
- Age spots
- Pore minimizer
- Skin irritation
Review:
This serum is 5% Arbutin and 5% Niacinamide. One of the serums from Cos De BAHA that is very sticky. It takes time for this serum to sink into the skin. The stickiness is much worse than the Niacinamide 10 Serum. The texture of the serum is way too thick for my liking. As for the results, no changes in my skin. I gave this serum so many chances. Each and every time, it didn’t deliver. Arbutin + Niacianmide has many skin care benefits, such as brightening the skin and treating acne scars, but I didn’t see any results from this serum. I thought it was a waste of time and money. I wouldn’t recommend this facial serum at all if you’re searching for an arbutin serum or niacinamide serum. No results from this serum. Moving on to something that works..

Review: Cos De BAHA Arbutin Niacinamide Serum + Skin Care Update
I’ve been using Cos De BAHA Arbutin Niacinamide Serum (lavender label) for over a 1 month. I can’t rave about this serum because I haven’t noticed big changes in my skin while using it. It’s meh. As I said before (when I introduced this serum), arbutin is a skin brightening/whitening ingredient. Just putting this out there, I’m not trying to whiten my skin. I’m trying to fade acne scars and even out my skin tone. Honestly, I think my other skin care products are doing a far better job at fading acne scars and evening out my complexion (like Vitamin C, other skin care products with Niacinamide). Also, giving my skin time to heal is helping with the acne scars too. Time heals the skin way better than skin care products from my experience. If you leave your skin alone, the acne scars will eventually disappear by themselves. With that being said, I won’t purchase this serum again. A lot of my other skin care products contain the ingredient Niacinamide. It seems repetitive having multiple serums with the same ingredient in it.
Since I’m back to vegan (veganism isn’t just a diet, I will do my best to choose vegan + cruelty-free skin care and makeup), I will not continue to use Cos De BAHA Snail Mucin HA Serum any longer in my skin care routine in the future. I’m going to finish the whole product though (what I have left). Why? Because I can’t return it, and I’m not going to toss it out. That would be a waste of $$$. I won’t repurchase it when I’m done. Even though it says that it’s ‘not tested on animals’ on the label, it’s obviously not vegan. Snail Mucin comes from snails. I must admit, it was a good moisturizer. It could be the hyaluronic acid that kept my skin hydrated though. Who knows. I haven’t noticed amazing changes in my skin just from the Snail Mucin HA Serum by itself, so I’m OK with giving it up. There’s always something better out there that’s vegan and cruelty-free. ? You know how I love trying out new skin care products (unless it breaks me out, lol).

I have a few new skin care products that I’m adding into my skin care routine. They are…
- Cos De BAHA Snail Mucin HA Serum
- Cos De BAHA Arbutin Niacinamide Serum
Cos De BAHA Snail Mucin HA Serum contains snail secretion filtrate 83%, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, d-panthenol, and natural herb extracts as active ingredients. Yes, I said SNAIL SECRETION FILTRATE. I am going to be slathering snail slime all over my face. Snail slime is known to have many skin benefits, such as anti-aging, moisturizing, fighting free radicals, and soothes the skin. I’m very excited for this experience. ? I hope it doesn’t break me out that’s all, haha.
I have another serum from Cos De BAHA — the Arbutin Niacinamide. This serum contains beta arbutin, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid as active ingredients. Arbutin is a skin brightening/whitening ingredient. So goodbye acne scars!! We will see if it works or not. My skin is moving in the right direction with my other skin care serums. ?
Last but not least, I didn’t mention it earlier, but I purchased a new bottle of Eva Naturals Youth Restoring Eye Gel (as shown in the photo). I love the way it brightens up my eye area. Yep, I have terrible dark under eye circles. This stuff works wonders for me compared to other eye gels/creams that I have tried before. I decided to stick with it for now.
I will do reviews on the Snail Mucin and Arbutin serums soon. ??
