Update: Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF 50+ PA+++
I used Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF 50+ PA+++ a couple of times when my skin was feeling very dry. It helped, but I can’t use this sunblock long term. It’s way too heavy for my skin type. It made my skin appear more oily too. It was good while it lasted. I stopped using it after a few days and went back to my Neutrogena Visibly Even Daily Moisturizer SPF 30. It’s lightweight, absorbs into the skin, and leaves my skin matte. Ever since I added rosehip oil into my skin care routine, my skin isn’t as dry anymore. The combination of Neutrogena Visibly Even Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 (am) and rosehip oil (pm) is working for me. I’m not going to use Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF 50+ PA+++ again. Now I really know if it’s good for my skin or not. It’s not for me. I wish it worked, but my oily skin doesn’t like it. This sunblock is good for people with truly dry skin.

My skin was feeling very dry yesterday after applying my sunscreen. I’m currently using Neutrogena Visibly Even Daily Moisturizer SPF 30. This sunscreen is leaving my skin drier than ever! I noticed a few pimples popping up due to my skin becoming dry and flaky. Soooo I did this — I used Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF 50+ PA+++! After going through hell with this sunscreen, I used it again! Why would I do something like this? Why??!! Because my skin feels so dry! Also, it’s because my skin has been tolerating a lot of products much better after switching facial cleansers. It’s insane how my skin has improved dramatically after changing my face wash. My experience after applying this sunscreen to my skin this morning was wonderful! My skin felt nourished and pampered. The dryness lessened. I’m going to test this sunscreen again and see if it’ll work out this time around. I really hope it doesn’t break me out! We’ll have to see!

I’m on the search for a sunblock that works for my skin type. The Purito Aloe Sun Cream is a highly raved product. I thought I would try it out. This sun cream comes out very creamy. I loved the texture of it. When applied to the skin, it does indeed feel like a moisturizier. It’s soft, creamy, and feels hydrating on the skin. I thought I found the perfect match! My skin feels dry, but I wasn’t blessed with clear skin. I have acne-prone skin. 🙁 So, after a few days of using this sun cream, I had to stop using it. I noticed breakouts on my face. I developed whiteheads from this sun cream. ? I tried it again once more after a week or so, yep, breakouts. I think this sun cream would work for people with dry skin but isn’t breakout prone. For acne-prone skin, I would skip it. And I’m just speaking as someone that have suffered from acne for many, many years. Moving on…
