Review: Trader Joe’s Hyaluronic Moisture Boost Serum

Comment

I’m so excited to review Trader Joe’s Hyaluronic Moisture Boost Serum! I’ve been using it for ONE WEEK already! I have so many positive things to say about this product! I can’t hold it in any longer! ? Ready? Let’s review what this product is all about once again!

Trader Joe’s Hyaluronic Moisture Boost Serum:

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Propanediol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin. ~ The ingredient list is pretty short and simple too. Great for minimalists!

Here’s the back of the serum bottle. The serum comes in a pump bottle with a cap. You dispense it out like so shown in my previous post.

The product is very easy to use, and it’s not messy at all. All you need is one single pump. A little goes a long way! Don’t over do it. You’re just wasting your money and product if you do. I dispensed two pumps, and it was way too much for my face! I had to rub the excess serum on my shoulders and arms. So, like I said, I’ve been using Trader Joe’s Hyaluronic Moisture Boost Serum for one single week. My skin has improved so much that I’m very happy with the results so far! My skin looks smoother and feels soft to touch. My wrinkles and fine lines diminished a little bit. It didn’t get rid of my fine lines and wrinkles, but it made it appear less noticeable. I noticed that this serum works even better than my eye cream at hydrating the skin around my eyes. No, I’m not going to give up my eye cream. I still love it. With the two, eye cream and serum, it works even better together! I apply this serum before I put on my sunblock and makeup, and it goes on like silk. Smooth it over and let it sink in. Don’t be too rough on your skin. You don’t need to tug and pull. That would cause premature wrinkles.

You may all know by now that I have oily skin. This serum does make my face look a bit shiny as the hours go by, but the results are too good for me to care. I fix this problem by dabbing the shiny spots away with a piece of tissue paper. Good news, even with the shine, I haven’t had any breakouts from this serum. ? This is the first time in a long time that my skin has been loved. I have NEVER experienced such hydration in many years. It feels great to experience this type of hydration on my oily, acne-prone skin! My skin looks soooo much better than before! With my healthy diet and drinking green smoothies, my complexion has dramatically improved quick! Also, Trader Joe’s Spa Face Wash with Tea Tree Oil is still doing a great job cleansing and brightening up my complexion! I highly recommend it for oily, acne-prone skin! It’s vegan. It contains no animal by-products. They don’t test on animals either! Love it!

Have you used Trader Joe’s Hyaluronic Moisture Boost Serum? How about Trader Joe’s Spa Face Wash with Tea Tree Oil? How did you like them? Leave a comment to share your experience! I would love to know! Well! I’m heading back to Trader Joe’s to check out their beauty section once again. ?

I’m totally addicted to Trader Joe’s beauty products after having success with Trader Joe’s Spa Face Wash with Tea Tree Oil. Check out my 2 weeks review here. When I was shopping for healthy food at Trader Joe’s, I picked up Trader Joe’s Hyaluronic Moisture Boost Serum. I needed a light moisturizer for my skin. Serums work very well on oily, acne-prone skin, since they are light and airy. I’m also a huge fan of the ingredient Hyaluronic. Hyaluronic is known to alleviate dry skin and reduce fine lines, wrinkles.

Trader Joe’s Hyaluronic Moisture Boost Serum:

Directions:

  1. Apply a small amount to entire face twice daily after washing.
  2. Follow with moisturizer.

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Propanediol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.

Trader Joe’s is a very good place to buy cruelty-free, no animal testing beauty care products. They have lots of choices to choose from. My eyes landed right on the Trader Joe’s Hyaluronic Moisture Boost Serum when I first looked at the beauty section. I had to buy it. I used it after I arrived home. This is what the serum looks like in the palm of my hand.

The serum is a soft gel-like texture. Not runny. It glides on the facial skin easily. It didn’t absorb right away into the skin. It took a few minutes to soak in. It feels a tad sticky, but that’s what serums feel like on the skin. The stickiness fades away once it sinks into the skin. It didn’t leave my skin greasy or oily after application. I’m very, very excited for this facial serum. I really need to bump up my moisture game. My skin has been looking dry and cracked without a hydrating moisturizer. All I’ve been using is Differin Oil-Control Moisturizer with Sunscreen only in the morning before I head out the door. I’m going to continue to use Trader Joe’s Hyaluronic Moisture Boost Serum and see how it goes!
