Day 1: First Night of Using Microneedle Derma Roller
I decided to start dermarolling tonight after inspecting my skin. My skin doesn’t have any open wounds. No acne. It doesn’t feel sensitive. It’s all good. I’ve been waiting for this moment since forever! I’m ready for it. 🙂 It feels so good to be at this state (clear skinnn!!!!!). ?
Here’s my experience using the dermaroller for the first time + tips on how to use the dermroller.
Clean the dermaroller
First step, sanitize the tool. This step is very important. You don’t want to use a dirty tool on the face. That will lead to infections and stuff that no one wants. Remember to sanitize, sanitize, sanitize!! Don’t ever skip this step.
Prep the skin
Prep the skin by cleansing the facial skin. Use a gentle facial cleanser. Something that is simple. My facial cleanser is very gentle on my skin. 🙂 After cleansing the skin, pat dry.
How to use the dermaroller
The instructions states not to puncture the skin but apply pressure. Roll back and forth in desired area 4-5 times. Here’s my experience doing this. I did my whole face. When I was using the dermaroller on my skin, omg, it hurts in the beginning. Once my skin adapted to the pain, the process went smoothly. My face was beet red afterwards. I only applied pressure too. Once that was over…
What to apply to the skin
I applied serums, such as Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid. I noticed that my serums sunk into my skin much faster. It vanished so quickly in an instant. It usually takes a few minutes for them to absorb into my skin. Hmmm!
*Santitize the dermaroller once again. IMPORTANT!!*
How many times a week to use the dermaroller?
The instructions states to use once a week for optimal results.
I’ll post my results tomorrow.
