Review: Maybelline Fit Me! Loose Finishing Powder

I decided to try a loose powder over a compact powder. I hardly ever use a loose powder because it’s messy. The texture and overall result using a loose powder is very different. It clings to the skin much differently. I find it to be more patchy and uneven. Anyways, I’ve never tried Maybelline Fit Me! Loose Finishing Powder before, and there’s nothing wrong with trying something new. Let’s see what happens!

Review on Maybelline Fit Me! Loose Finishing Powder:

I’ve used this loose powder a couple of times. I didn’t enjoy it. It made my skin look dry and made my pores look larger. I have the one in Fair. The shade works on my skin, but I simply didn’t like the way it made my skin look. While making my skin look extremely dry and pores larger, it also accentuated fine lines, wrinkles, and acne. It’s a no-go. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. Don’t buy it.

Remember Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara? It’s time for a review! I’ve been using this mascara for a month now! I think that’s enough time to do a complete review on this mascara! Before I begin, in my last post on Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara, I said that I had doubts about this mascara. And just as I thought, my experience with it wasn’t that great. It’s not too different compared to the original Maybelline Great Lash Mascara. The only difference between the two was the brush head. I must say, the brush head is definitely better than the original Maybelline Great Lash Mascara. With the The Great Little Grabber, I can reach the lashes near the inner corner of my eyes without harming myself. It also does a better job at separating my eyelashes. Good, right?!! No, not really. Overall, I didn’t find the formula that amazing. It had the tendency to run and gave me raccoon eyes. This mascara is not buildable, so don’t attempt to build it up. You’ll end up with weird, clumpy-looking lashes. That’s not attractive and looks very unnatural. So, in the end, I wouldn’t recommend this mascara at all! Don’t be fooled by the appearance of it, do yourself a favor and keep on walking by when you see this mascara! It’s not worth the money just like the original Maybelline Great Lash Mascara!!

How to Apply:

1. Sweep The Great Little Grabber from root to tip of lashes.
2. Repeat Step 1 until desired lash look is achieved.
3. Do not let mascara dry in between coats.

I’ve used plenty of mascaras from Maybelline, but there’s one in particular that I would like to mention, since it’s similar to the mascara I’m sharing. If you have used Maybelline mascaras before, I’m sure you may have heard of it. It’s called Maybelline Great Lash Mascara. Maybelline Great Lash Mascara also comes in a pink and green mascara tube. Honestly, it looks like the Great Lash Mascara gave birth to the Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara. ? I wouldn’t be surprised. They’re both named Great Lash anyways. So, the Great Lash Mascara claims to be America’s Favorite, but I beg to differ. I’m not a fan of it. My lashes never looked good with it on. It never made my lashes look full or doubled (as it claims to do). It gave me raccoon eyes whenever I wore it. It’s not even funny. I think it’s an overhyped mascara, so I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone at all.

Even though I didn’t get good results from the Great Lash Mascara, I decided to give the Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara a chance. The shape of the brush caught my eye. It looked cute and interesting. The brush is called The Great Little Grabber. ? It’s heart-shaped and claims to reach lashes to multiply impact. I’m into tapered mascara brushes to reach itty bitty lashes towards the inner corner of the eyes. They work better. Chunky mascara brushes tend to make it difficult to achieve the look that I desire. Two colors are only available — Blackest Black and Very Black. I have the one in Blackest Black. If you’re wondering if this mascara is vegan, it is not. It contains beeswax at the beginning of the ingredient list. ? Look forward to my upcoming review to see if it works or not. See you there!
