1 Month Update: Wet n Wild Max Volume Mascara

Here’s my 1 month update on the Wet n Wild Max Volume Mascara! 🙂

As I said before, I haven’t had much luck with Wet ‘n Wild cosmetics. I wish I did because they are so inexpensive. So after a month of using the Wet n Wild Max Volume Mascara, I have to say that I’m impressed with this mascara! As I kept using it, I would say that it’s better than other drugstore mascaras I have used! Even though it has issues like clumping (just a little bit) and an annoyng packaging, those flaws are very minor. I noticed less clumping as I used it more often. This mascara stayed on my lashes wonderfully even during my workouts! Through the sweat, it didn’t run. It stayed on! 🙂 I do have another mascara. It’s the NYX Worth the Hype Mascara. I think I did a review on it before. It’s been so long, lol. I’ll do a new review soon. Between the two mascaras, I tend to gravitate towards the Wet ‘n Wild Max Volume Mascara for everyday use. It’s working for me. =) When I run out of this mascara, I might pick up a new one. It’s pretty awesome that it’s affordable too.

Here’s my review on the Wet n Wild Max Volume Mascara! This product was a part of the Wet n Wild Day to Night Kit. I haven’t had much luck with Wet n Wild cosmetics. This one, in particular, was not bad. It extended my lashes and gave them some volume. I noticed some clumping, but it wasn’t too bad. Also, the mascara didn’t run either. So, I would say that this product was decent. It was much, much better than the Wet n Wild Mega Volume Mascara and Wet n Wild Mega Length Mascara. The one thing that bothered me the most about this mascara was the packaging. The mascara tube is too big and clunky for me. I can’t imagine bringing this anywhere with me. It just takes up too much space (lol). Would I recommend the Volume Max Mascara? Out of all the mascaras I’ve tried so far, sure!

Review:

I’ve been using this mascara for quite some time. Here are my thoughts on it. I was hoping that this mascara would work out for me, but it didn’t. This is possibly one of the worst mascaras I have used. No lengthening effect. No definition. And all of the other claims are false. This mascara is not buildable. It clumps upon the first application. I tried adding another layer of mascara on, and the product became even more clumpy. It doesn’t lift and separate the lashes. Again, clumpy. It makes the lashes stick together. That’s not a good look. Also, this mascara runs. I couldn’t believe how much mascara was on my under eyes when I looked in the mirror. This is one of those products that needs to be discontinued because it’s just plain terrible. Another Wet n Wild mascara down. I think I’m done with them. Don’t buy this.

Review:

This is my mascara right now. I’ve been using it for a good amount of time to do a review. My experience with the Wet n Wild Mega Volume Mascara was not good. It’s literally the opposite of what it’s supposed to be. I love the intense black color (not difficult to find in another mascara), but this mascara was pretty clumpy. It doesn’t separate eyelashes. It looks like a mess. It flakes off the lashes too by the end of the day. Uhhh…that’s not what I want. I don’t like the way it makes my eyelashes look. ? I have a very difficult time removing this mascara even with a makeup remover, oils, and wipes. Basically everything. I mean, it’s not the worst mascara out there I’ve used, but it didn’t work for me. I won’t purchase it again due to this bad experience. I’ll be on the look out for a mascara that’s more suitable for me.

Vegan Makeup elf Cosmetics

Just a few days ago, I had a hard time adjusting to wearing makeup after being free of makeup for months. I wanted to get used to it again. I’ve been playing with makeup. I’m starting to feel more comfortable wearing makeup again. So I went out and purchased new makeup products that I needed to replace. This is what I bought.

• elf Expert Liqud Eyeliner in Midnight
• elf Volume Plumping Mascara in Black
• elf Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in St. Lucia

The reason why I chose elf is because their makeup products are vegan and cruelty-free. Also, elf is a very inexpensive brand. The total for all of the makeup products listed was $9 plus tax. No joke. I do remember when elf used to sell their products for only $1. Those days are long gone. I didn’t want to shell out too much money on makeup. I’m more of a skin care fanatic than a makeup addict. My main focus is skin care. LOVVEEE!!

I haven’t purchased elf cosmetics in years. My past experience with elf cosmetics were not too great, but I decided to give it another chance. We will see how these products go. ? I really do hope they live up to my expectations. *fingers crossed*
