My thoughts on the Acure Brightening Day Cream:
I’ve used the Acure Brightening Day Cream before. I can’t recall if I liked it or not. It was so long ago. haha. I decided to give it another chance just because. My skin needs all the moisture it can get right now. At the same time, I want to achieve a brighter, more even complexion too. This product hits both of those points. It’s also a vegan and cruelty-free skin care product! Yes! ?? I haven’t used it for long, but here’s a quick review on what I think…
So far, it feels lightweight, creamy, and moisturizes the skin. It’s not the most moisturizing face cream, but it’s good enough for my oily, acne-prone skin. I had trouble applying the cream to my face because it wouldn’t absorb properly. This could be from the other skin care products I had on my skin prior to applying the cream to my face. Who knows. But eventually the cream absorbed into my skin without peeling off. Since I am on Tret, it did sting my skin. No biggie. Seriously, no big deal. I know my skin is extra sensitive right now. I’m trying to get as much moisture as I can get (stuff that my skin has been missing out on for ages, lol). The only thing I’m worried about is if it’ll break me out or not. This day cream says it’s for all skin types, but it contains oils and obviously is for normal-dry skin types. We’ll see! Wish me luck! ?
