elf Aqua Blush
elf Aqua Blush in Pink Beige/Bronzed

I have another blush palette! I’ve been using it (as you can see, lol). I chose this palette because it was on sale, haha. But also, I needed darker colors. I was there at the right time. ? The other one I have from elf is…

Elf St Lucia Blush Bronzer
elf St Lucia Blush Bronzer

The colors in the second palette shown look very pretty, especially the color on the left. It’s a peachy shade that looks really natural on my cheeks. It’s subtle but gives my cheeks a pop of color. They’re nice, but I wanted something more bold. I love changing up my colors one day to the next. It makes things more exciting and fun.

I really like elf blushes and bronzers. They’re in a portable compact that’s easy to open and use. The colors compliment each other very well. They work. It’s pigmented enough and shows up on my skin. Works just the same or even better compared to more expensive blushes and bronzers. I would repurchase in the future. 🙂

Have you used elf blushes or bronzers? Did they work for you?

Review: elf Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder

elf Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in St Lucia

Here’s my review on elf Blush and Bronzing Powder. This makeup product came in a compact with a mirror. The one I purchased is called St Lucia. It’s a combo of a peachy hue (blush) and a chocolate brown color (bronzer). This duo can be used everday. It looks very natural and clean. I was shockingly surprised that I liked this elf product. From my past experience, elf cosmetics were meh. This time, I like it. The blush gives me a natural glow that isn’t overwhelming. The bronzer is awesome at contouring and giving the skin that sunkiss color. The only con I can think of is that it isn’t highly pigmented. That can be solved by using a primer beforehand. My BB cream acts great as a makeup primer, so the color does show up. But, it doesn’t make my face look too made up. So far, this blush and bronzer duo is working out for me. Plus, it’s not that expensive either. Good buy. I would check out other elf cosmetics because of this experience. ?

P.S. It is cruelty-free and vegan. ♥

New Makeup Products — elf!

Just a few days ago, I had a hard time adjusting to wearing makeup after being free of makeup for months. I wanted to get used to it again. I’ve been playing with makeup. I’m starting to feel more comfortable wearing makeup again. So I went out and purchased new makeup products that I needed to replace. This is what I bought.

The reason why I chose elf is because their makeup products are vegan and cruelty-free. Also, elf is a very inexpensive brand. The total for all of the makeup products listed was $9 plus tax. No joke. I do remember when elf used to sell their products for only $1. Those days are long gone. I didn’t want to shell out too much money on makeup. I’m more of a skin care fanatic than a makeup addict. My main focus is skin care. LOVVEEE!!

I haven’t purchased elf cosmetics in years. My past experience with elf cosmetics were not too great, but I decided to give it another chance. We will see how these products go. ? I really do hope they live up to my expectations. *fingers crossed*

Have you tried any of the makeup products listed above? Did they work for you? What are your thoughts on them? Share your experience!
