Opening Trader Joe’s Spa 100% Pure Jojoba Oil:

It is freshly sealed when the cap is opened. When using jojoba oil, it gets a little bit messy around the cap area. All you need to do is wipe it down after each use. The golden glow looks so beautiful and exotic! I love it. ?

I’ve only used Trader Joe’s Spa 100% Pure Jojoba Oil as a body moisturizer, leave-in hair treatment, and lastly a facial moisturizer. Here’s my experience with each method. Get one for yourself and experiment with me! ?

As a Body Moisturizer:

Jojoba oil is perfect as a body moisturizer. I’ve used it on my hands, arms, legs, stomach, and feet. It moisturizes and leaves the skin hydrated without making it feel greasy and shiny. I like it. I love how it’s all natural with just a single ingredient (Pure Simmondsia Chinensis)! I’m enjoying every moment of using jojoba oil as a body moisturizer! I highly recommend jojoba oil if you’re searching for a 100% natural moisturizer for the body!

As a Leave-in Hair Treatment:

I also used jojoba oil as a leave-in hair treatment. It works but with limitations. As a leave-in hair treatment, I can’t use it near my scalp area. If I do, my hair becomes flat and oily. Jojoba oil is one of the most non-greasy oils, but it’s still oil. The only areas I can use it is from the mid-shaft to the ends. Still, I can only use 1-2 drops of oil. If I use any more than that, once again, my hair becomes flat and oily. It’s an unpleasant look. I try my best to avoid overtreating my hair with jojoba oil.

As a Facial Moisturizer:

I’ve only used jojoba oil as a facial moisturizer one time. I’m slowly adding it into my skin care routine as a facial moisturizer. I’m still wary about using oils on my facial skin. I do have oily, acne-prone skin. If it breaks me out, I’m going to be sad and disappointed. The very first time using it on my facial skin was good. I liked the way it felt on my skin. As an acne-prone skin sufferer, it’s an amazing feeling. Acne treatments always end up drying the facial skin out. So, it’s nice to feel that drench of moisture on the skin for once. I don’t want to get too excited over this. We will see as the days go on. I really hope it works!
