Review: Purito Dermide Cica Barrier Sleeping Pack
Here’s my review on Purito Dermide Cica Barrier Sleeping Pack! I’ve been using it for 9 months. 🙂 When I first purchased it, I was searching for a nourishing, moisturizing facial moisturizer. My skin was super dry from acne treatments. I needed something that would deeply moisturize and repair my moisture barrier. Everything I was using didn’t work. I needed something quick. Something that truly works. That’s when I found Purito Dermide Cica Barrier Sleeping Pack. It contains ceramide and hyaluronic acid to hydrate and strengthen the skin barrier. Supposedly locks in moisture overnight for a more supple and plump skin the next morning (as the product states). And super centella complex to soothe and calm the skin. Hmm, interesting. Well, that sounds perfect for my skin condition! Also, this Purito product is vegan and a cruelty-free skin care product. After 9 months of using Dermide Cica Barrier Sleeping Pack, here are my thoughts on it!
My experience
This sleeping pack is a cream that is soft and thick in consistency. When applied to the facial skin, it feels very soothing and moisturizing. My skin instantly felt moisturized and protected. I tried using it in the morning since I loved how it moisturized my skin at night, but that didn’t work. It felt too rich and heavy. Don’t get me wrong, it felt very moisturizing, and I liked the way it made my skin feel. But my skin wasn’t having it. My skin couldn’t handle how intensely it moisturized my skin. It’s too heavy for daytime (for me, at least). This product can be used during the day if your skin can handle it. Mine just didn’t like it. I stopped using it during the day and stuck to using it only at night. So this sleeping pack did an amazing job at repairing my moisture barrier from excessive dryness and sealing in moisture. I really liked the results. But after 2 months of using it, I started to notice cystic acne and lots of closed comedones. I really didn’t think it was the sleeping pack until I stopped using it. The acne went away. Instead of using it on my face, I started using it on my body. It works great as a hand cream! It feels rich and creamy. Very moisturizing. My hands love it! This product wasn’t a total waste. It’s useful for something. 🙂 After a few months went by, I tried to use it on my facial skin again to combat dry skin. Maybe it was a fluke that this sleeping pack breaks me out. Nope, it’s true, it does break me out, lol. I stopped using it immediately on my face, and my skin cleared up. Yeah, I gave it another chance. It didn’t work the second time around, haha. Oh well. I continued to use the product on my body. It seems to work better for that. I guess this cream provides too much moisture for my skin type (face).
This is what Purito Dermide Cica Barrier Sleeping Pack looks like. It’s creamy and feels very rich. The texture of this cream is very nice. It extremely moisturizing, and it definitely gets rid of dry skin quick!

Conclusion
This sleeping pack isn’t good for my face, but it works very well on my body. I did purchase it specifically for my face, but that’s okay. I can use it on my body. It does a great job at moisturizing my neck (my skin is so dry here!!), hands, and feet. If I have dry patches of skin on my body, I’ll just apply some of this cream on and voila! The dry skin vanishes. It’s really good at keeping dry, flaky skin away. Works each and every time. So this is something I would purchase again for other purposes other than my face, since it breaks me out. It gives me pretty bad acne. It’s the type of product that would be beneficial during the winter months when my skin gets dry and itchy. I think I’m going to keep it around. I like it. If you’re not prone to breakouts, this sleeping could work for you. I think it’s a good product, and I’m on my second tube. I’m just not going to use it on my face.
