Oily Skin + HD Powders
I battle with oily skin every single day. I haven’t found a face primer that works on my skin. They always end up making me break out in acne, so I decided to try other makeup products. How about HD Powders? I’ve used HD Powders in the past, but I decide to resurrect them once again. It may be different this time around. The products shown are from brands I haven’t used before.
I have two HD Powders. On the left, Wet ‘n Wild Mattifying Powder. On the right, elf Perfect Finish HD Powder. I’ve already used Wet ‘n Wild Mattifying Powder. Check it out.
I’ve hit the pan with this one. I took this photo days ago. Almost all of the product is gone by now. I mind as well do a review in this post. First, here’s some information about this product.

My Review on Wet ‘n Wild Mattifying Powder:
As I mentioned before, I’ve hit the pan with this mattifying powder. It’s going down real fast. Not because I love it. Because I want to finish it to move onto my next HD Powder (elf Perfect Finish HD Powder). I really wanted to like this HD Powder, but it didn’t live up to my expectations. It does absorb oil and reduce shine. That only lasted for less than 1 hour. All of a sudden, a surge of oil attacked my face again. Yeah, I have VERY oily skin. The glitter in this powder didn’t help much. I was expecting a ‘mattifying’ powder as stated in the product’s name. I wouldn’t buy it again. Onto the next!
I’m going to test the elf Perfect Finish HD Powder now. I hope it works. ?
