Eva Naturals Youth Restoring Eye Gel

My last review was nearly a year ago. Here’s an update on Eva Naturals Youth Restoring Eye Gel!

So I’ve been experimenting with other eye serums/gels/creams. All I can say is that I’m over this eye gel. It did help with dark under eyes, but that was it. I want something that helps with fine lines and wrinkles too. I feel that this eye gel is just an extra step in my eye care routine. I really don’t have time to let it dry on my skin. That takes time on top of my other skin care products. If you’re interested in minimizing fine lines and wrinkles + dark under eyes, I wouldn’t get this. The size of the product and price is amazing, but it’s not worth it if it doesn’t address all issues. Also, I want to add that I don’t like the packaging of this product. It’s in a bottle with a pump. I rather have it in a tube. That would make it much easier to dispense the product out. I became really annoyed with the bottle because the product would get stuck at the bottom and sides. I don’t want to waste time reaching for product. It’s a waste of product too if you’re unable to use it. And I don’t mean a little bit of product. I’m talking about chunks that would sit at the bottom and sides of the bottle. Would I recommend this eye gel? No. There are better eye care products out there with better, easy-to-use packaging.

In my last review, I did mention about Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, and MA Peptide. Check out my latest thoughts on them. They’re all from the brand Cos De BAHA.

As for the Acne.org AHA+ lotion (since I mentioned it too), I haven’t been using it. I still have a whole bottle of it sitting around. I don’t have the urge to make it a staple in my skin care routine. It’s just there. I’ll finish it up (most likely use it on my body), but it’s not something I’m interested in right now or in the future. ??‍♀️ It’s really not for me.

I have a few new skin care products that I’m adding into my skin care routine. They are…

Cos De BAHA Snail Mucin HA Serum contains snail secretion filtrate 83%, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, d-panthenol, and natural herb extracts as active ingredients. Yes, I said SNAIL SECRETION FILTRATE. I am going to be slathering snail slime all over my face. Snail slime is known to have many skin benefits, such as anti-aging, moisturizing, fighting free radicals, and soothes the skin. I’m very excited for this experience. ? I hope it doesn’t break me out that’s all, haha.

I have another serum from Cos De BAHA — the Arbutin Niacinamide. This serum contains beta arbutin, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid as active ingredients. Arbutin is a skin brightening/whitening ingredient. So goodbye acne scars!! We will see if it works or not. My skin is moving in the right direction with my other skin care serums. ?

Last but not least, I didn’t mention it earlier, but I purchased a new bottle of Eva Naturals Youth Restoring Eye Gel (as shown in the photo). I love the way it brightens up my eye area. Yep, I have terrible dark under eye circles. This stuff works wonders for me compared to other eye gels/creams that I have tried before. I decided to stick with it for now.

I will do reviews on the Snail Mucin and Arbutin serums soon. ??

Eva Naturals Youth Restoring Eye Gel

I finally finished a whole bottle of Eva Naturals Youth Restoring Eye Gel. I thought this eye gel was much better than the eye creams/gels I’ve purchased at the drugstore. It’s much better compared to high end brands too. It helped with dark eye circles. It didn’t eliminate them. That’s better than nothing, since I haven’t found an eye cream or gel that works to at least somewhat fade dark under eye circles. What it didn’t truly help with were fine lines and wrinkles. It doesn’t provide much moisture either. I think it makes a good base before applying another moisturizing eye cream on top or face moisturizer.

At the moment, I haven’t purchased a new one yet. I’m still debating. Currently, my serums (Vitamin C, Hyalronic Acid, MA Peptide) are doing a great job at moisturizing my skin (including my eye area). Also, Acne.org AHA+ lotion is doing an awesome job keeping my skin moisturized. It has helped with fine lines and wrinkles too. It makes a very good eye cream. It’s an all-in-one skin care product that moisturizes and fights aging skin. So, that’s why I haven’t gone out and bought a new bottle of Eva Naturals Youth Restoring Eye Gel. I don’t want to have too many steps to my skin care routine any longer. It’s better to keep it minimal and simple. 🙂

Is Eva Naturals Youth Restoring Eye Gel any good? Yep. It’s really up to you if you want to try it or not. :]

I have three new serums.

  1. Eva Naturals Youth Restoring Eye Gel
  2. Evalight Brightening Serum 10% Niacinamide
  3. InstaSkincare Retinol Serum with Hyaluronic Acid

I’ve used them a little over 1 week. Here’s my first impression of each serum.

What I Think:

When I bought this eye gel (not a serum), I had the intentions of *hoping* eliminating dark under eye circles and wrinkles. Surprisingly, I saw results within a couple of days. I used it in the morning and at night. I noticed that the texture of my skin around my eyes felt softer and smoother. It DID help to diminish the darkness of my under eye circles too. *amazing!!* Keep in mind that it didn’t completely erase my dark under eye circles, but I can definitely see a change after using this eye gel. 🙂 Other eye care products I have used and were more expensive didn’t give the same effect. This bottle is 2 oz. It was only 15ish bucks! Wow! I’m truly amazed! I really like it a lot so far and will continue to use it. I’ll report back for an updated review on it.

What I Think:

I bought this to help with spots left by acne. It contains Aloe, Niacinamide, Mulberry, Hydrolyzed Oat Protein, Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Alpha Arbutin, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Lemon Essential Oil. The ingredients sound promising, but I have yet seen any changes in my skin. What a bummer. Perhaps I have to use it much longer. We will see. The size of the product is rather small. Only 1 fl oz. It wasn’t cheap either. This could be a one time thing. I don’t know. Hmmm.

InstaSkincare Retinol Serum with Hyaluronic Acid:

What I Think:

I wanted a retinol skin care product in my skin care routine. I saw this. Picked it. The box of the product was sealed. For some reason, the bottle of the product wasn’t filled all the way to the top. I’m not expecting it to be fully full, but at least near it (like other serums). *shurgs* The serum is on the heavier side compared to other serums. It is sticky and tacky. It did leave my skin feeling moisturized but no visible results so far. I’m meh about this serum. I’m not liking the sticky texture of it. I prefer skin care products that sink into the skin easily, so I stopped using this retinol. I moved on.
