Maui Moisture Detoxifying Volcanic Ash Shampoo

I haven’t reviewd Maui Moisture Detoxifying + Volcanic Ash Shampoo yet. Here it is. It’s about time. I’m still on the first bottle of the shampoo. The first time I only bought the shampoo. No conditioner. Here is my review on the shampoo.

About Maui Moisture Detoxifying Volcanic Ash Shampoo:

Shampoo Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Water (Aqua), Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Water, Volcanic Ash, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Hedychium Coronarium Root Extract, Charcoal Powder, Polyquaternium-22, Linoleamidopropyl Pg-Dimonium Chloride Phosphate, Polyquaternium-39, Undecane, Tridecane, Peg-150 Pentaerythrityl Tetrastearate, Ppg-2 Hydroxyethyl Cocamide, Sodium Hydrolyzed Potato Starch Dodecenylsuccinate, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Maltodextrin, Hexylene Glycol, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Benzoate, Fragrance (Parfum).

Shampoo Review: I really liked this shampoo. It cleaned my hair very well without leaving it dry. It’s so much better than Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Shampoo, which left my hair soooo dry and awful looking. Maui Moisture Volcanic Ash Shampoo foams up enough and washes off well. It left my hair feeling clean, shiny, soft, and volumized.

And that is why I purchased a new bottle of the shampoo along with the conditioner. 🙂

I’m excited to use both at the same time. Here are the ingredients in the conditioner.

Conditioner Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Water (Aqua), Behentrimonium Chloride, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Ppg-3 Benzyl Ether Myristate, Steareth-20, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Water, Volcanic Ash, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Hedychium Coronarium Root Extract, Charcoal Powder, Polyquaternium-37, Undecane, Polyquaternium-47, Tridecane, Glycol Distearate, Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Ppg-1 Trideceth-6, Isopropyl Alcohol, Maltodextrin, Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Benzoate, Fragrance (Parfum).

It is silicone free (as the bottle states). I’ve only used it once, and so far it isn’t bad at all. But we’ll see how it goes. I do have another shampoo and conditioner I want to share in another post. Stay tuned for that. =)

Shopping Haul: Derma E, Maui, hello

Comment

I purchased some beauty products on a whim about last week. I’ve been using them, but I’m not going to review them yet. Here’s a list of what I bought. 🙂

And why?

Derma E Vitamin C Micellar Cleansing Water Probiotics & Roobios:

I’m addicted to Derma E skin care products right now. Other products I’m using are…

Yeah, you’ve got the gist. I haven’t gotten around to reviewing most of these products. I’ve only reviewed ONE so far, haha. So this is my first time using a micellar water product. I’ve heard of it before, but I was never a fan of toners, and they look very similar to facial toners. I’ve been wandering around looking to see what I can do for my skin. I decided to try it out.

But first, what is micellar water? What does it do? Micellar water is also known as cleansing water (as the name of the product states). Micellar water or cleansing water contains tiny balls called micelles that attracts dirt, debris, and oil. All of that gunk gets removed from the face without using a face wash. You don’t have to rinse micellar water off. It also protects the skin’s natural barrier.

I picked Derma E because it is vegan, cruelty-free, and contains Vitamin C.

Maui Moisture Detoxifying + Volcanic Ash Shampoo for Dull, Congested Hair:

I was in need of a shampoo. I’ve seen Maui at the store plenty of times, but I never thought about it. With hair care products, I can easily jump around without doing much damage. Unless it’s a horrible product, haha. Here’s to my new shampoo! heh.

hello Activated Charcoal Fluoride Toothpaste:

I love charcoal-based products. I used another charcoal toothpaste before.

Cali White Activated Charcoal & Coconut Oil Toothpaste

My First Time: Cali White Activated Charcoal & Coconut Oil Toothpaste

That was nearly a year ago. ? We’ll see how the new charcoal toothpaste goes. I’m looking forward to a brighter smile! Always. 🙂

What skin care products do you use? Any favorites? ♥
