Why I’m No Longer Vegetarian & It’s a Good Thing

I gave up Vegetarianism.

Yep. Yes, I did.

What happened? Why??!! 😲

First reason, I love animals too much. ♥ The thought of consuming eggs and dairy repulsed me as the days went on. 🤢🤮 Fortunately, I was only vegetarian for only a few months. My conscious kept telling me that this felt wrong. I didn’t care to make my life easier. Whatever that means now. I really thought about it. You know what? I’m going to order my food the way I want it, and that’s without any (as much as possible) animal abuse and exploitation. Yes, everyone, eggs and dairy are cruel. The egg and dairy industry isn’t as innocent as people think. Animals are abused and exploited on a daily basis just for your selfishness. And that’s not necessary at all. I didn’t want to be a part of that whatsoever.

With that decision, I felt better. Here’s another reason why I felt better…

My health deteriorated as a vegetarian. My skin became greasy and dull. I naturally have oily skin, but it appeared more oily than usual. I had digestion issues. I started to have really, really bad gas. 😂😭 It was terrible. Imagine passing gas all day long. 😂😂😂 That was not normal, lol. I noticed an increase in mucus in my nasal passages and throat. My allergies were out of wack. I was coughing more often. That raised a lot of questions in me. Something was not right. So I gradually and naturally went back to my vegan ways. I stopped eating eggs and dairy all together. I felt better. I felt stronger, less tired, less fatigue, less bloated, and just plain healthier and happier. That’s when I knew that I was meant to be vegan. ✌🏻 YUP! I’m back to vegan (been for some time now 🐷🐮🐔), and I couldn’t be happier!! 🙂 Remember when I was complaining about how my hair didn’t grow as fast as it used to? Guess what? My hair feels fuller and more luxurious now. My hair is growing out much faster! 🙌🏻 I’m never going back. 🙂

Be kind to animals, the environment, and your health! GO VEGAN! 🥰🥰🥰 If you’re vegetarian and thinking about transitioning to vegan, just do it. Eggs and dairy isn’t worth it. There’s so many vegan alternatives out there that taste way better!!! If you need any help, you can just leave a comment. 🐰

Orgain Organic Protein Bars Review

Here’s my review on Orgain Organic Plant-Based Protein Bars. You know, I’m glad I gave these protein bars a second chance. This time, I really liked them. I was eating Clif Bars before this. I love Clif Bars, but it contains a lot of sugar. They’re awesome as a pre or post-workout snack though. I’ve read many reviews saying that Orgain Organic Plant-Based Protein Bars are very sweet. They’re actually not compared to Clif Bars. I noticed a decrease in sweetness when I switched over. Orgain Organic Plant-Based Protein Bars are a little bit more grainy. It’s something I’ve gotten used to by now. At first, it was weird, lol. They’re not that bad at all. Taste-wise, my ranking of the flavors (ones that I purchased) are…

  1. Cookie Dough
  2. Peanut Butter
  3. S’mores

S’mores was the sweetest out of the bunch, which is funny because it has 1 more gram of sugar compared to Cookie Dough (not a significant amount anyways, just mentioning it). Overall, I like these protein bars. 140 calories per bar with 10 grams of protein. It’s easier to portion control with them. I felt more satisfied and full when I eat these. With the Clif Bars, meh. It felt more like a candy bar with protein due to the high sugar. I would buy Orgain Organic Plant-Based Protein Bars again. I’m really happy with them this time around. I wish they would produce more flavors. It gets really boring when I only have four flavors to choose from.
