Review: The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10%
On to another The Ordinary skin care product! This is the Argireline Solution 10%! This is a pretty popular product from The Ordinary. It’s a peptide that is supposed to be like ‘botox in a bottle’. It helps to reduce wrinkles and plumps up the skin. It targets fine lines and wrinkles. This includes areas around the eyes, forehead, and areas that are prone to dynamic folds. This product is vegan and cruelty-free. I’ve gone through a few bottles of this serum already. So did it do anything for my fine lines and wrinkles (if there’s any), read on to find out! Here’s my experience! 🙂
My experience
Alright! The Argireline serum from The Ordinary is hyped up. I had to try it out. This serum is lightweight and a little bit runny. The texture is perfect. It absorbs into the skin well. I only use a few drops for the entire face and neck. If I need more, I can add a a few more drops if necessary. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to continue to use this serum on my facial skin, I developed breakouts. But when I was using it on my face, I didn’t notice any changes in fine lines or wrinkles. It did absolutely nothing. It felt like I was applying water to my skin. It seems like The Ordinary and my skin don’t seem to get along. But, I didn’t stop using the product though! I kept using it on my my neck and chest area or anywhere else on my body if needed. What have I got to lose? I still had a ton of product left. And after knocking out a couple of bottles, I didn’t see any changes in my skin. Once again, what a disappointment. All of the raves and positive reviews surrounding this product being ‘botox in a bottle’, it didn’t work for me. I wonder if people are just exaggerating the results. I’ve seen more changes from glycolic acid and using a moisturizer. Honestly, in my opinion, this serum is definitely overhyped being ‘botox in a bottle’. But maybe it’s one of those products that needs to be used long-term to see results. It wouldn’t hurt anyways. It’s super affordable and lasts for quite some time. We’ll see what happens in the future. I might see changes in years to come.

❌ Cons

Conclusion
Even though this serum didn’t do much for my skin, I’m still using it. I think I’m just going to keep using it to see what the future holds. The serum is under 10 bucks. It’s very affordable. It’s been a staple in my routine for a while. Let’s keep it that way and hope it’s doing something. 👌🏻
