The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% Ferulic Acid 3%

I talked about adding The Ordinary Ascorbic Acid 8% Alpha Arbutin 2% back into my skin care routine. Don’t forget to check out my recent update on it by clicking the link provided! If you missed out on my other reviews on The Ordinary skin care products, don’t worry, here they are!!

The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10%

The Ordinary Matrixyl 10% + HA

The Ordinary Amino Acids + B5

Since I’m using The Ordinary Ascorbic Acid 8% Alpha Arbutin 2%, I might as well use The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% Ferulic Acid 3%. These two serums together make a good combo for anti-aging, fading acne marks and hyperpigmentation, improving skin elasticity, protecting the skin from damage, and fighting against free radicals. Ferulic acid helps to stabilize ascorbic acid too. Woohoo! That sounds so amazing! So after not having any issues with the other The Ordinary serums (mentioned above), I’m feeling really good about The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% Ferulic Acid 3%! I hope it works! 😀

So yesterday morning, I used both The Ordinary Ascorbic Acid 8% Alpha Arbutin 2% and The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% Ferulic Acid 3% together. I’m going to focus on my experience with The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% Ferulic Acid 3% now. 🙂 With The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% Ferulic Acid 3%, my first impression (once again) is that it felt oily. It also felt oily when I applied it to my skin. It didn’t absorb well into the skin either. I had to wait a few minutes for the serum to sink into the skin, which I did wait. I didn’t want the product to pill or messing up layering my skin care products. After a few minutes, I can still feel the oiliness of the serum on my skin. It’s not the best feeling in the world. But, luckily, I didn’t experience any negative side effects or product rolling off of my facial skin when layering on other skin care products and throughout the day. I was pretty shocked due to how oily the serum felt on my skin. But, I’m happy! I didn’t have any issues with the serum. I didn’t get any breakouts by the end of the (last) night or this morning either. I honestly can’t wait to see what results this serum may bring! Of course, along with The Ordinary Ascorbic Acid 8% Alpha Arbutin 2%! Stay tuned for my update on The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% Ferulic Acid 3%! I can’t wait to share my results with everyone! 🙌🏻
