I finally finished a whole bottle of The Ordinary Pycnogenol 5%! I started to use it in the morning and night. One drop in the morning and one drop at night. I mix it in with my other moisturizers and pat it into my skin. The serum absorbs into my skin very well. As for results, it’s really hard to tell if it’s doing anything, since my other skin care products are hydrating. I think this is one of those products that you keep using just because. The product claims to enhance skin hydration and elasticity. Scavenges free radicals and rejuvenates the skin and so on. I hope it’s doing something good since I have a couple of bottles left. It’s time to open up a new bottle! 😁🤗

I have another product from The Ordinary! It’s Pycnogenol 5%. I’m about halfway done with the bottle, so I thought I’d share my thoughts on it!

About The Ordinary Pycnogenol 5%:

Review:

I’ve been using this product for 2.5 months. I started off using it in the morning and at night, but I only use it in the morning now. Actually, for a while now. Using it twice a day was a waste. I think once a day is more than enough. Also, it comes in a 15 ml bottle. It’s a tiny bottle. So not a lot of product. I picked this up just because. I wanted to try something new from The Ordinary.

What do I think about it?

After 2.5 months, I honestly haven’t noticed any changes in my skin. As the product states, it’s supposed to rejuvenate the skin, enhance skin hydration and elasticity, protects proteins from degradation, nourish from the inside out, scavenges free radicals, and so on. It has a lot of claims, and they all sound amazing! But, unfortunately, like I said, I haven’t noticed changes in my skin. I think it’s one of those products I’m going to continue to use just because until I get to the point that I don’t think I need it anymore. I mean, I know what the main ingredient in this product can do. It hasn’t damaged my skin. My skin looks good (from other skin care products). I’m just going to hope that one day I’ll notice a positive change in my skin or maintain good skin with it in my routine. I’m neutral about this product right now. At least it didn’t break me out or clog my pores. I’ll make a new update when I finish the whole bottle, or when I see any changes in my skin. We’ll see what happens in the future. Stay tuned for another review! 🙂
