My Review on Coxir Ultra Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Oil + More Skin Care Products I Stopped Using!
I haven’t introduced this cleansing oil yet, but I finished using it yesterday. It’s called Coxir Ultra Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Oil. I started using it after finishing Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil. Here’s more about Coxir Ultra Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Oil!
This cleansing oil is supposed to remove dirt, blackheads, and sebum. It’s a moisturizing formula that contains hyaluronic acid to hydrate and moisturize the skin. It leaves the skin feeling refreshed and supple after every cleanse. It also contains camellia oil, rosehip oil, canola oil, and aloe vera extract. Other ingredients in this cleansing oil includes tea tree, acerola, blueberry, grape, and sweet cherry.
So I’m not really big on cleansing oils. I feel like I’ve said this so many times, lol. Honestly, I really can’t see the difference in my skin using a cleansing oil and not using one. I’ve been using oil (just pure oil) to cleanse my face as a makeup remover for so many years. I find that using oils, such organic coconut oil and extra virgin olive oil works the same without the high price tag. I still have a large container of organic coconut oil that I use to cook with and for beauty purposes. A huge tub of organic coconut oil just lasts forever compared to a bottle of pre-mixed oil. So that’s why I’m not too wild about pre-mixed cleansing oils. Since I still have them, I’m just going to use them for now.
Here are my thoughts on Coxir Ultra Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Oil…
This cleansing oil feels like any other cleansing oil. It feels a little thick and oily (duh, lol). It moves over the facial skin just fine. It feels soft and smooth on the skin. I didn’t have any issues with it tugging at my skin. I didn’t use this cleansing oil alone. I used it as a makeup remover only. So I used this cleansing oil first then followed up with my everyday face wash. It helped to breakdown my makeup before washing my face. I think it did a better job at removing my eye makeup including my stubborn waterproof eye makeup compared to other cleansing oils I have used. This cleansing oil gets a thumbs up for that! Even though the product says that it’ll help remove dirt, blackheads, and sebum, I wouldn’t trust that. Once I rinsed the oil off of my face, my skin didn’t feel clean. Just oily. A good facial cleanser is recommended after using the cleansing oil. That’s what I did as mentioned. I didn’t get any breakouts because of that. It didn’t help with blackheads like it claims to do. I experienced some blackheads when I was using it (not from the cleansing oil). I’m just saying that the cleansing oil didn’t do anything for blackheads. It’s not going to remove them. My overall experience with this cleansing oil wasn’t too bad. I mean, it helped remove my makeup very well due to the thickness of the oil. I remember using iUNIK Calendula Complete Cleansing Oil, and this product was terrible at removing my eye makeup. So it all comes down to, am I going to purchase Coxir Ultra Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Oil again? Probably not. I don’t need it that’s all.
Now on to other thoughts…
Here are some more products I stopped using! Yeah, I’ve been eliminating products from left to right. Have a much more minimal routine since I don’t have time to apply this many skin care products daily anymore. It just became way too much for my lifestyle. If you missed out on my previous posts on products I gave up on, here they are!
Skin Care Products I Stopped Using
Continued: Skin Care Products I Stopped Using
***
I stopped using 2 moisturizing products from my moisturizing skin care products list. They are Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion and Cos De BAHA MA Peptide Facial Toner…
Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion:
I really liked this hyaluronic acid toner (gel moisturizing product). It does give my oily skin the moisture that it needs, but I think it’s way too much moisture for me. More than I actually thought. I started noticing a greasy and more oily complexion while using it. I mean, I love the combination of hyaluronic acids in this product but perhaps this product is too heavy for the warm, hot, humid weather where I’m at. My skin just feels way too damp. I noticed a few breakouts out of nowhere while using it. I feel like my skin retaliated against the excess moisture, so I decided to stop using it for now. Maybe I’ll bring it back in the winter if my skin gets dry. I actually feels nice to not use it. I’m trying to accelerate my routine. haha. It’s a good product, but it’s not so much for me right now.
Cos De BAHA MA Peptide Facial Toner:
I decided to remove Cos De BAHA MA Peptide Toner from my moisturizing routine. I like the ingredients in this product and the fact that it does hydrate my skin. It makes my skin appear moisturized and smooth. It’s just that I don’t really need it. I started to feel like it’s an extra step in my moisturizing my skin. It’s just another product that isn’t necessary. So I don’t think I’m purchasing it again when I’m done with it. It’s time to say goodbye to this facial toner. 👋🏻
There goes 2 more products being dropped from my moisturizing routine. I like what I’m doing right now, but I may stop using more products if I don’t see any results from them. Stay tuned for more updates!

Skin Care Products I Stopped Using
So I’ve been pondering about eliminating skin care products from my routine and life. At first, I thought I would just use them up on my face and stop it at that. But, I decided to stop using it on my face here and now. I was deep cleaning my pores (yuck!) and noticed how congested my skin was. I immediately thought of the vast amount of skin care products I use on my face daily. I questioned if I needed to use these products any longer if I haven’t seen much results from them. What’s the point of using them? What’s the point of buying them? I mean, they haven’t done much for my skin. What am I thinking? lol. Also, I don’t have the time to apply that many products on my face anymore. If I did, I wouldn’t want to anymore. I think I’m going to simplify my routine and just make my life so much easier.
Here are the products! 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
Benton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel
This is a lightweight moisturizing aloe and propolis gel. I used it for its lightweight moisture and how it didn’t clog my pores. Overall, it did a terrible job at keeping my skin hydrated. Sometimes the gel would burn my face when it felt more sensitive than usual. I feel like I’m just using it because it’s a lightweight gel. I haven’t been amazed by the results, so I decided to drop it from my routine.
Cosrx AHA BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner
This is probably the worst aha and bha product I have used. The amount of aha and bha is so little that it does absolutely nothing for my skin. I thought it helped to minimize the oil in my skin at some points while using it, but it just didn’t deliver in the end. It’s a clarifying treatment toner, so it’s not your typical aha or bha product. I think it’s a waste of time using it. At least for me. I’m done with it. Finally, haha. Out it goes!
Purito Galacto Niacin 97 Power Essence
This is actually a good galactomyces and niacin product. It helped to brighten my skin and helped to diminish the oilies from my skin while making my skin appear more glowy. But! I have other galactomyces and niacin products I love way more. I can’t wait to finish this product. It’s not something I will purchase again any time soon. Good product but I prefer my other galactomyces and niacin products that I have way much more.
iUNIK Black Snail Restore Serum
What can I say about this snail serum? It’s moisturizing, sticky, and contains snail. It doesn’t brighten or lift the skin, but it does nourish and leaves the skin feeling moisturized. Honestly, I think it’s too sticky and heavy for my skin type. Also, I haven’t noticed much of a change in wrinkles. Yes, it claims to help with wrinkles. It’s really just a moisturizing serum. Nothing more.
iUNIK Propolis Vitamin Synergy Serum
Another serum from iUNIK. The only difference between the texture of the propolis and black snail is that the propolis isn’t as sticky. The results are basically similar. It moisturizes and nourishes. As for brightening and wrinkles, nope, nothing. Don’t expect it to brighten your skin. It’s just another moisturizing serum. I kept using it hoping it’ll improve some acne marks and help with wrinkles, but I haven’t seen any changes in my skin/acne marks using it. I think it’s time to move on from it.
Cosrx Galactomyces 95 Tone Balancing Essence
This is a really good moisturizing galactomyces essence. It’s lightweight and leaves the skin feeling hydrated and moisturized. I didn’t break out from it either. But, since I have another galactomyces product that I prefer much more, I decided to stop using this one. I don’t see the purpose of using more than one galactomyces products at one time or in my routine. So, I’m not purchasing it any time soon again.
Cosrx Advanced Snail 92 All in One Cream
I stopped using this snail cream on my face a long time ago. I only use it on my neck and body. I really can’t tell if it’s doing anything but moisturize, which almost every moisturizer does. It hasn’t helped much with any of my skin conditions, such as fine lines, wrinkles, and overall skin texture. It feels like any other moisturizer, except it’s more sticky due to the snail ingredient.
iUNIK Beta-Glucan Power Moisture Serum
Here’s another serum from iUNIK. It’s more moisturizing compared to the snail and propolis serum. That’s all it really is — a moisturizing serum. I haven’t noticed much when it comes to skin elasticity as it claims on the bottle. I think this serum is way too heavy for my skin anyways. It’ll work better on someone with dry skin. All I know is that it’s too much for my skin. So I guess that’s another iUNIK serum down.
Gold Bond Ultimate Neck & Chest Firming Body Treatment Cream
I haven’t done an update on this neck and chest firming cream. Sorry, I’ve been busy. Here’s a short review on it! So this cream feels very nice on the skin. It’s a rich, dense cream that leaves the skin feeling pampered and very moisturized. I used it on my neck and chest for months, but I haven’t noticed much in a decrease in any lines or crepey skin. It just felt like a thick, rich moisturizer for the neck and chest. I didn’t think my skin felt firmer with or without the cream. I used it twice a day, by the way. I think it’s pretty overpriced for the amount of product. It feels so similar to Gold Bond Ultimate Crepe Corrector Age Defense, which comes in a larger tube. Honestly, I would just go for the larger tube instead. I’m not going to buy the neck and chest firming cream again. It’s just a moisturizer. Lol.
Stay tuned for more! Also, a new update on my moisturizing skin care products! 🧴
Wow, that is a lot of skin care products!! 😹

My Thoughts on SOME BY MI Niacin 30 Days Miracle Brightening Sleeping Mask After Finishing My First Jar!
I finished a whole jar of SOME BY MI Niacin 30 Days Miracle Brightening Sleeping Mask! It took a little over 2 months to finish a whole jar. I used it in the morning and at night to help moisturize my skin a little more. I didn’t have any issues with it compared to another SOME BY MI product that I tried — SOME BY MI Yuja Niacin Brightening Moisture Gel Cream (read!!). After 2 months of using this sleeping mask, here are my thoughts on it!
This is a nice watery-gel moisturizer. It’s supposed to be used only at night, but since I didn’t have any issues with it (breakouts, redness, other skin irritations), I used it twice a day. I just take a dab of the moisturizer and gently pat it into my skin. This moisturizer soaks into the skin very nicely. It just absorbs into the skin and feels calming, cooling, and soothing on the skin. It feels very refreshing! I always look forward to using it. I just love the way it feels on my skin. As for moisture, it’s not the most moisturizing skin care product, but it gives my skin some moisture. I do have oily skin and have trouble handling heavier, richer moisturizers, so this gel moisturizer works perfectly fine on my skin. It doesn’t leave my skin looking shiny, greasy, or oily. As I said before, it just sinks into the skin while leaving the skin feeling somewhat hydrated.
With this product, it’s just not only the hydration that I’m after (even if it’s just some hydration). I love the ingredients in it too. I think I mentioned this before in another post that I wrote about SOME BY MI Niacin 30 Days Miracle Brightening Sleeping Mask. The ingredients in it are very nice. It contains citrus junos fruit extract (70.5%), niacinamide (5%), panthenol, and jojoba seed oil, hippophae rhamnoides fruit extract, arbutin, glutathione, ascorbic acid, and biotin. And it looks like the ingredients/formula of this product is compatible with my skin type. I have experienced NO clogged pores while using it. YAY! As for results, I noticed my skin looking brighter every time I use it. I’ve tried a bunch of other skin care products that contain niacinamide and none of them worked to improve my complexion. This one worked on my skin! It helps to brighten my skin and hopefully helps to fade acne marks and dark spots along the way.
So it’s only been 2ish months of using the moisturizer, but I’m very excited what results it may bring in the next couple of months. I’m ready to pop open a new jar! Cheers!! 🥂
Here’s my empty jar of the product and a new, freshly opened product! I’m so excited! 😃

Trying out SOME BY MI Yuja Niacin Brightening Moisture Gel Cream…
Here’s another SOME BY MI product that I tried. It’s SOME BY MI Yuja Niacin Brightening Moisture Gel Cream! This gel-cream contains 90% yuja extract and 5% niacinamide. It’s supposed to help with skin brightening, blemishes, moisturizing, and helps to fade freckles???? What??!! Well, we’ll see if it works or not! Here’s my experience with this product!
So this product is a nice gel-cream. It goes on the skin easily and just sinks into the skin. It feels lightweight. Not heavy, greasy, sticky at all. This gel-cream is a dream come true for oily skin. If you have dry skin, this product isn’t moisturizing at all. Might want to think twice about using it. As someone with oily skin, it dried my skin out! But my skin didn’t feel dry at the moment when I was applying it to my skin or wearing it. It felt dry the next morning. And having dry skin can look just as bad as having oily skin. It accentuates every single little flaw. Makes the skin look worse. Also, unfortunately, the first night of using this gel-cream, I woke up with new blemishes. I didn’t think much about it (maybe a purge??), so I continued to use it the following day…
The next day, I used it in the morning and at night. It’s one of those things where I wanted to give it a chance. Who knows what might happen. But, I should’ve listened to my gut instinct. My skin didn’t look good after day 2 of using this moisturizer. My skin reacted. I noticed more new blemishes that looked swollen. My skin looked very irritated and super red. I didn’t know what was going on, so I had to stop using the moisturizer because of this reaction. Ugh, the product worked so well at brightening my skin! It truly does do what it’s supposed to do (minus fading freckles, no clue if it works for that or not)! I noticed a glowy, more even tone complexion, and my acne marks looked better when using this product the first day. It was instant results! Sadly, it makes me break out! Now on to the next! Whatever that is. haha!
I looked through the ingredients, and the ingredients look so good. I just know that something or a combination of ingredients in this product wasn’t compatible with my skin. Perhaps it’s too drying and caused issues. Anyways, I’m currently using another product from this brand, and it hasn’t caused any breakouts, but I’ve only been using it a few times a week due to it drying my skin out when used too often. Go check it out! 👉🏻 SOME BY MI Niacin 30 Days Miracle Brightening Sleeping Mask Hopefully this product does something for my acne marks and overall skin condition. I can just hope! 😋
